Prototype: B1 Battle Droid
The B1 Battle Droid is a tall, thin humanoid framed battle droid manufactured widely during the Clone Wars. Its humanoid frame allowed the droids to operate a range of machinery, vehicles, and weapons while programmed to never surrender proving unquestionably loyal. The base model, however, had limited armoring, and simple programming, making them incapable of independent thought and vulnerable in basic one on one combat. Manufactured in mass by Baktoid Combat Automata and Baktoid Armor Workshop.
B1 Battle Droid has been equipped with small rocket boosters proportionate to its size, allowing this B1 Battle Droid to fly in sustained flight up to 5-meters in height and requires 2 minutes in cooldown between bursts to prevent overheating.
B1 Battle Droid has developed a quirked personality, granting it an inclination towards heavy doses of sarcasm when engaged in dialogue. As a result, B1 Battle Droid comes across as having issues taking direction and developed a reputation for 'snark'.
B1 Battle Droid has had every external component painted black as night, with attempts to minimize the brightness of external lights and features. This allows this B1 Battle Droid to more easily blend into the shadows and darkness unseen.
