The E-XD Infiltrator Droid is an infiltration droid designed to resemble a protocol droid but outfitted with both built-in blasters as well as scanning and identifying various objects and lifeforms. They are also fitted with a proton warhead that is programmed to self-destruct if the unit is compromised while carrying out its specific mission. Designed for Grand Admiral Thrawn during the Age of the Empire to scour the Outer Rim Territories for rebel bases.
Tanako Combat Unit has been fitted with a built-in SCOMP link, allowing this E-XD Infiltrator Droid to slice into various types of terminals and droids.
Tanako Combat Unit makes a mark that is immediately apparent upon first setting eyes upon it. Looking like the victim of an explosion of color, Tanako Combat Unit is covered in multi-hued designs and patterns utilizing as many variations as possible. While appearing to be random upon first glance, there is a certain uniformity to the chaotic display of the artist.
