Omni has been programmed with greatly improved combat protocols, allowing it to perform much better in multiple combat scenarios when compared to other KX-series "Rebellion Edition" Security Droids.

An experimental automated repair system has been installed on this KX-series "Rebellion Edition" Security Droid, giving it an ability to perform or assist in the performance of self-diagnosis and self-repair of its mechanical systems. This system slows the droid while it assesses any necessary repairs when dealing with heavy damage, and can perform very basic tasks or actions while assessing necessary repairs.

The experimental memory upgrade provides quantum computing power to this KX-series "Rebellion Edition" Security Droid, allowing it to perform complex analytical operations at an incredibly faster rate than before.

Omni could be said to have seen better days. Looking more like the result of a scavenging run than a fully functioning KX-series "Rebellion Edition" Security Droid, its plating is missing in several key locations which leaves its internal circuitry exposed. Wiring flows out of the main chassis before snaking its way back under the next panel along its path. Servos and non-critical systems are laid bare for all to see, but Omni retains its functionality despite this.

Omni has developed a personality revolving around analytics with no room for imagination. This results in a myriad of statistics and rules of logic being delivered routinely. Such a personality can be grating on others, and often is greeted with annoyance.
