Prototype: WESTAR-M5 Blaster Rifle
The WESTAR-M5 is a large blaster rifle that is very accurate at close range, with a flex sight making it accurate in medium-range situations as well. It is capable of powerful armor piercing semi-automatic, burst or automatic firing modes. It also comes equipped stock with an under-barrel grenade launcher that makes the weapon more difficult to wield, but capable of dumb firing up to six grenades one at a time that detonate on impact with a hard surface with a wide blast radius. The under-barrel launchers uses the Explosives skill.
The underside of this WESTAR-M5 Blaster Rifle has been fitted with a flame projector, allowing WESTAR-M5 Blaster Rifle to shoot a cone of flames up to five meters for 30 seconds using the Miscellaneous Weapons skill.
WESTAR-M5 Blaster Rifle has been modified with a droid targeting system, greatly increasing the aiming of this WESTAR-M5 Blaster Rifle using a droid brain chip and a series of gyros.
The barrel on this WESTAR-M5 Blaster Rifle has been replaced with a larger and reinforced barrel, allowing WESTAR-M5 Blaster Rifle to fire shots of increased penetration.
