The Resurgent-class Star Destroyer is a 2916-meter long Destroyer that is designed as a front-line warship as well as a starfighter and military troop transport with enough firepower to engage in planetary bombardments. It is exceptionally armed with turbolaser and ion cannons, point-defense turrets, point-defense missile emplacements, and tractor beam projectors that allow it to lock onto and move other vessels or objects. In addition to its armament, this vessel can accommodate various support ships and transports and carry two full wings of starfighters. Hyperdrive capable, this vessel has exceptional speeds, however, the faster moving the less maneuverable the massive vessel became. It is well defended with heavy shielding and armor. Built by Kuat-Entralla Engineering, the construction of this vessel was ordered by the First Order during its conquest of the Unknown Regions and was based on the Star Destroyers of the Galactic Empire.
