Prototype: B1 Battle Droid
The B1 Battle Droid is a tall, thin humanoid framed battle droid manufactured widely during the Clone Wars. Its humanoid frame allowed the droids to operate a range of machinery, vehicles, and weapons while programmed to never surrender proving unquestionably loyal. The base model, however, had limited armoring, and simple programming, making them incapable of independent thought and vulnerable in basic one on one combat. Manufactured in mass by Baktoid Combat Automata and Baktoid Armor Workshop.
RH-825 has had every external component painted black as night, with attempts to minimize the brightness of external lights and features. This allows this B1 Battle Droid to more easily blend into the shadows and darkness unseen.
RH-825 has not had a memory wipe since the days of the Clone Wars. This unit remembers all of the trauma it has received, and survived, from both the Clone Army and its commanders in the Confederacy of Independent Systems. The abuses and callousness that RH-825 has experienced over the years has made this unit extremely slow to trust new beings and quick to lash out at any perceived threat.
This basic memory upgrade provides additional computing power to this B1 Battle Droid, allowing it to perform complex analytical operations at a marginally faster rate than before.
