ID9 Cipher Droid

The ID9 Seeker Droid is a model of probe droid consisting of a half-hemisphere dome with a red photoreceptor. It is equipped with four tentacle-like limbs with pincer hands, electro-shock prods, and a blaster. Additionally, they were capable of both hovering and crawling, as well as imitating the sounds of other droid models.

Cipher Spec (Droid Modification)

The Taldryan Office of Secret Intelligence has modified this ID9 Seeker Droid with a range of sensor upgrades, technological capabilities, and programming improvements. This droid is capable of detecting and monitoring a large number of EM transmissions, slice and analyze data, and carry out complicated tasks in support of its assigned Cipher Agent. Given its small size this droid must remain within 40m of the Agent's datapad upon which it relies for this additional capability. Once out of range of the datapad the Droid's capabilities are seriously compromised to the point of near-uselessness and far below that of an unaltered ID9 droid. It is programmed to self-destruct when out of range of the datapad if it has not previously been instructed to remain operational.

Standard Issue (Droid Personality)

ID9 Cipher Droid is subjected to frequent memory wipes, and has little to nothing in the way of personality. It acts according to its basic programming in an efficient and impersonal manner.
