Prototype: Rancor

The Rancor is a semi-sentient reptilian carnivore that hails from Dathomir, these predators could grow up to 5 meters tall. With long arms, heavily muscled bodies and a hide thick enough to withstand most blaster bolts, these creatures were rather formidable in the wild. Sometimes domesticated for fighting pits or as entertaining methods of execution, Rancors have developed a reputation for fearsomeness. It is rumored that the Nightsisters once used Rancors as battle mounts.

Granted Aspect: Domesticated (Tameability Category)

Domesticated

Mavrix was bred in a tame condition, and is comfortable around humanoids. It depends on humanoids for survival and looks to them for support. As creature handling goes up, a member can better understand and train and control this creature, but it will always look to Syrena Valkar for guidance and support. When a character is proficient (+3) at handling creatures, they can do all they need with a domesticated creature.

Spoiled Brat (Creature Personality)

Mavrix has grown accustomed to getting special treatment over other creatures, and likes it. They now expect to always be treated in this manner, which can make them come off as entitled and somewhat selfish.

Oversized (Creature Physical)

Mavrix is larger than the average Rancor in terms of size and body mass. Their bulkier build can offer better power but often at the expense of the mobility and agility commonly associated with other Rancor.

Purple Rain (Creature Cosmetic)

The Rancor is a vibrant purple in color, with shimmering scales, some of which fade into a deep blue in a gradient. The Rancor’s eyes are a bright turquoise in color, and its claws are a darker shade of purple.
