Balaerion is a terrestiral planet orbiting the star Caperion. The planet has a type IV atmosphere and is not capable of sustaining life. It's terrain is barren frozen wastes, comprised of a layer of nitrogen, methane, and carbon monoxide ice sitting atop a layer of water ice. The crust is composed of two tectonic plate, separating the planet into distinct hemispheres. Earthquakes along this line shatter the ice, revealing the mineral rich crust which can be mined for resources used in the construction of artificial gravity generators and electronics.
