Solyiat is a terrestrial planet that orbits the star Kiast Aurek. It has a Type 1 atmosphere , and is capable of supporting life. The surface of the planet has eight island continents and is mostly covered in snow and ice due to its distance from the star, but small areas of geothermic activity allow for various flora and fauna to flourish within lush pastures, subtropical forests, and hot springs. From high mountains to the low lying plains, the continents are speckled with various mining outposts because of the planet's rich mineral composition.
