It has assumed the needs of Regent's Rarities to be its prime directive, even such tasks that have not been requested of it. This results in Dark Trooper Droid often flitting about in an attempt to meet any possible task before it is necessary, including menial tasks.

Dark Trooper Droid has had most of the factory installed safety limitations on operation removed, both in the hardware and software, allowing this Dark Trooper Droid to perform acts at the limits of its physical capabilities

This Dark Trooper Droid has been reinforced with an experimental layer of additional armor plating, providing Dark Trooper Droid unmatched durability compared to a standard Dark Trooper Droid.

Dark Trooper Droid has had every external component painted black as night, with attempts to minimize the brightness of external lights and features. This allows this Dark Trooper Droid to more easily blend into the shadows and darkness unseen.

Most of Dark Trooper Droid's combat routines have been replaced with a specialized bodyguard and valet protocol, allowing it to function more akin to a protocol droid but limiting combat capabilities to basic defensive and offensive maneuvers.
