The Beskar Beskad is a traditional Mandalorian sword constructed from the rare metal beskar. It was designed by Mandalorians based on a design from the ancient Taung, it has a single edge blade that widens toward the tip before tapering to a point. Two metal guards protect the wielder's hands at the top and base of the hilt, and was traditionally accompanied by a Kal in the offhand.

Ijaat has seen combat, and it shows, with marks scarring the body on the weapon, and minor damage in the form of scratches and dents unrepaired since they had no impact on the functionality of this Beskar Beskad.

The handle on this Beskar Beskad has been modified with a comfort grip, allowing Ijaat to be held for extended periods of time without fatigue of the user's hand.

Ijaat has been fitted with a blade honed and sharpened to maximize cutting power, making it easier for Haro Zylrun to push and cut directly into different materials that it comes in contact with. This perfectly straight, sharp blade, has limited friction on contact.
