Rat is wild by nature, but has had its behavior modified to accept the presence of humanoids by an intervention. It is trained against its wild instincts to accept humanoids. As creature handling goes up, a member can better empathize, train, and manage this creature's behavior. Rat is larger than the average Rat in terms of size and body mass. Their bulkier build can offer better power but often at the expense of the mobility and agility commonly associated with other Rat.

Rat lacks an inherent drive to be the leader when around other creatures, especially when among fellow Rat’s. They are usually content to follow the lead of others, especially one they associate as their “Alpha”. They do not look to assert their dominance by means of aggressive action by vocalizing with their respective method of communication (howling, hissing, roaring, etc.).
