The Ascendant Drone is a powerful utility-combat droid hybrid housed within a drone-chassis design. Each drone is programmed with a unique and powerful artificial intelligence construct. Constructed from military-grade metals and infused with ascendant crystals, it is capable of firing a powerful beam of pure energy from the composite beam laser array stored beneath the crimson photo-receptor in the middle of the front of the chassis. It uses a myriad of repulsorlift technology to give it immense lift and propulsion capability, allowing it to keep up with a speeder.
Pip has been painstakingly cared for, and even upon close examination it appears as though Ascendant Drone was freshly off the manufacturing line. Absent of any scratches, dents or even the slightest imperfections, the only thing missing is the new droid smell.
Pip has developed a quirked personality, granting it an inclination towards heavy doses of sarcasm when engaged in dialogue. As a result, Pip comes across as having issues taking direction and developed a reputation for 'snark'.
