Darth Ashen's Armor has been permanently altered by the Dark side of the Force using Sith Alchemy, these alchemical alterations give Muz Ashen Keibatsu the ability to resist lightsaber or blaster attacks using his Dark Age Sith Armor

Darth Ashen's Armor has been designed with a primarily matte black color with dark purple accents to honor the ancient disciplines of the Krath. Finely engraved alchemic sigils and runes of power trace across the seams of the plates, nearly invisible to the untrained eye. The seal of the Lion of Tarthos is embossed in high detail on the cuirass. Pauldrons bearing three slashes of dark purple are worn over the shoulders of an ankle length black leather warcoat, itself worn over a knee length dark purple jacket, the lining stitched with arcane symbols. Greaves and harness boots match the kit. The broad and dark visor of the helmet affords a wide and unobstructed view of the surroundings while keeping the wearer’s face from view. The helmet has a lion motif, the upper jaw crafted into the helmet, a black mane of hair traveling down the wearer's back.
