The Phrik Electro-staff is a pole-like melee weapon that was used by the IG-100 MagnaGuard droids during the Clone Wars. The electrically charged tips on either end of the staff can can be set to either a "stun" setting or a deadly discharge that could stop a sentient's heart after five full seconds of contact.
This Phrik Electro-staff has been constructed out of nearly indestructible phrik alloy. This phrik alloy allows Regent's Rarities to use their Phrik Electro-staff to resist blaster and lightsaber attacks.
The handle of this weapon is equipped with a generator that sends constant electromagnetic pulses to the weapon's striking surface during use. While active, the striking surface of [this item] can parry lightsaber blades; however, the rest of the weapon is vulnerable to a lightsaber's plasma blade.
Phrik Electro-staff has been painstakingly cared for, and even upon close examination it appears as though Phrik Electro-staff was freshly off the manufacturing line. It is absent of any scratches, dents or even the slightest imperfections.
Phrik Electro-staff has had as much material as possible removed from its basic structure, in an attempt to make this Phrik Electro-staff as light as possible while still useful in combat. This makes it far easier for Regent's Rarities to wield, but at an offsetting reduction in force on impact.
The handle on this Phrik Electro-staff has been fitted with an ion cell, allowing Phrik Electro-staff to discharge ions along the striking area of the weapon and deal greater damage to droids or electrical components.
