The R2-series "Rebellion Edition" Astromech Droid is a variant of the R2-series Astromech Droid that has been heavily modified and upgraded by the Rebel Alliance in their opposition to the Galactic Empire's reign.
Glitch has developed an obsessive personality centered around the concept of self-improvement. Glitch truly believes itself to be superior to any other R2-series "Rebellion Edition" Astromech Droid and capable of accomplishing great feats. This drive aids it in accomplishing its tasks, but sometimes will result in unexpected additional outcomes.
An advanced toolkit has been integrated into Glitch, allowing it to perform sophisticated and large-scale repairs on other droids or technology.
An improved sensor suite has been installed inside the droid brain of Glitch, allowing a much wider scanning area than a standard R2-series "Rebellion Edition" Astromech Droid.
Glitch's body and legs have been painted battleship grey with ochre accents. It's dome has been painted ash grey with ochre accents.
This R2-series "Rebellion Edition" Astromech Droid has greatly improved astrogation programming, allowing it to perform incredibly more complex maneuvers and store additional hyperspace coordinates or jumps within its memory.
