The 0-0-0 Torture Droid is a specialized Interrogation Droid inside a 3PO-series Protocol Droid body designed to specialize in etiquette, customs, translation, and torture using a copy of the Triple Zero protocol personality matrix. It is fitted with a multitude of hidden torture attachments inside its fingers, such as a poison-filled syringe containing 500 milligrams of xenotoxin developed by the Mandalorians, a proton charge, and various scalpels. A 0-0-0 Torture Droid served Dr. Aphra and Darth Vader during the Galactic Civil War.
0-0-0 Torture Droid has had every external component painted black as night, with attempts to minimize the brightness of external lights and features. This allows this 0-0-0 Torture Droid to more easily blend into the shadows and darkness unseen.
0-0-0 Torture Droid has developed a personality around the concept of a caretaker. It has assumed the needs of its owner to be its prime directive, even such tasks that have not been requested of it. This results in 0-0-0 Torture Droid often flitting about in an attempt to meet any possible task before it is necessary, including menial tasks.
An experimental automated repair system has been installed on this 0-0-0 Torture Droid, giving it an ability to perform or assist in the performance of self-diagnosis and self-repair of its mechanical systems. This system slows the droid while it assesses any necessary repairs when dealing with heavy damage, and can perform very basic tasks or actions while assessing necessary repairs.
