Prototype: Cortosis B2 Super Battle Droid
The Cortosis B2 Super Battle Droid is a Combat Droid developed by the Techno Union and manufactured by Baktoid Combat Automata to specifically combat Jedi. They are similar to the B2 Super Battle Droid, but their outer shells are made of cortosis clamped to the droid's frame in form-fitting plates. The only weakness in their armor is a small gap between two breastplates and the photoreceptor.
There can be no mistaking Cortosis B2 Super Battle Droid for any other Cortosis B2 Super Battle Droid. The droid's plating has been painstakingly coated in an application of chrome. The resulting appearance is a highly reflective silver coating that runs the risk of showing each and every minor scratch it endures.
Cortosis B2 Super Battle Droid has developed a personality around the concept of a caretaker. It has assumed the needs of its owner to be its prime directive, even such tasks that have not been requested of it. This results in Cortosis B2 Super Battle Droid often flitting about in an attempt to meet any possible task before it is necessary, including menial tasks.
