The BD-unit "Survivor Edition" Backpack Droid is a modified version of the BD-unit Backpack Droid. It has been fitted with additional tools and resources such as a macrobinocular "BD Vision" mode that allows a person to look through their photoreceptors and highlight targets and destinations, a stim dispenser, a thruster for hovering and quick bursts, a droid hacking matrix, and more powerful computer access and slicing link.
Carr Cinteroph has painstakingly cared for this BD-unit "Survivor Edition" Backpack Droid, and even upon close examination it appears as though BD-53rv0 was freshly off the manufacturing line. Absent of any scratches, dents or even the slightest imperfections, the only thing missing is the new droid smell.
This BD-unit "Survivor Edition" Backpack Droid has been upgraded with an experimental electrical defense grid that allows BD-53rv0 to operate at normal capacity when hit with ionized electricity, and prevents any permanent damage or loss of functionality.
BD-53rv0 has been fitted with a built-in SCOMP link, allowing this BD-unit "Survivor Edition" Backpack Droid to slice into various types of terminals and droids.
BD-53rv0 has developed a personality revolving around analytics with no room for imagination. This results in a myriad of statistics and rules of logic being delivered routinely. Such a personality can be grating on others, and often is greeted with annoyance.
