The Lightdagger is a small and specialized lightsaber variant, much shorter than a traditional lightsaber and even shorter than the shoto lightsaber. Traditional lightsaber components have been downsized greatly into a small hilt, and produces a blade a maximum of twelve inches long powered by crystals that determine its characteristics and color. While it lacks the reach of a traditional lightsaber, the smaller hilt is much easier to conceal and shorter blade quicker to maneuver. It is capable of cutting through virtually anything, including blast doors, given enough time.
Lightdagger has a simple dark gray cylindrical hilt set with knurled circles to assist in gripping the weapon, with a clasp at the base to attach the weapon, and a bright blue blade when activated.
This lighsaber has been built with reinforced materials, allowing it to withstand greater damage before becoming inoperable.
This lightsaber is equipped with an ionizing emitter matrix for use against droid units that may be capable of fighting through lost limbs or chassis pieces. The ionization funneled into the blade works to fry circuits in the periphery of a strike.
