The Spider Probe Droid was an advanced probe droid created by Arakyd-Harch Technologies for the First Order. It is large at just over the size of an average humanoid, with three long legs to resemble a spider, allowing it to walk. Each of these legs is equipped with a booster to allow it to hover and fly, and it can deploy a number of small remotes equipped with blasters for defense.
First Order Spider Probe Droid has had every external component painted black as night, with attempts to minimize the brightness of external lights and features. This allows this First Order Spider Probe Droid to more easily blend into the shadows and darkness unseen.
An improved sensor suite has been installed inside the droid brain of First Order Spider Probe Droid, allowing a much wider scanning area than a standard First Order Spider Probe Droid.
First Order Spider Probe Droid has been fitted with an advanced gravity generator with an unregulated governor, allowing this First Order Spider Probe Droid to create an incredibly powerful gravity swell that increases the weight of an enemy and dramatically slows an enemy.
