Shadow Nighthunter has been a real hard worker as she finishes working toward reaching Dark Jedi Knight. Balancing a school schedule involving multiple AP courses, along with a steady stream of DJB work is not an easy thing to accomplish. She was an active participant in a group for the pre-Crusade Runon and has finished several large fictions outside of DB competitions to help herself become a strong writer. Shadow is an outstanding member here in Scholae Palatinae and I am very excited to see her not only finish making it to DJK but beyond. For her current efforts I award her this Dark Cross. On top of being one of our active members in the IGs, Shadow has also made 5 posts in the “Ohmen Villa” a small closed RO she is participating in with her student Aquarius. Shadow has been finding new ways to carve out her position here in the club. Most recently she has developed an affinity for Assassination style competitions. The first round of these were met with outstanding success here in Scholae Palatinae, driving up a great deal of activity for the house. She has also already begun examining different ways to challenge the house with these focused competitions in the next set of them. I know several of us very much enjoyed working on these competitions. Personally it was some of the most fun I've had in ages with fictions.

But her efforts go beyond just giving new opportunities for activity. She is also a stellar example of activity herself. She regularly competes in competitions. She was one of the driving forces of her teams Fading Light runon attempt. She also helped remind several members of her team (members she both knows in real life and recruited to the club) to participate in it as well. HSP would be a much emptier and less active house if it were not for her love of Star Wars and the club.

Coming out of a the guidance of the promotion guidelines at DJK can be a hard thing to overcome. Shadow continues to both work hard and show just how much she cares for the club. For her continued efforts I recommend she be awarded this Dark Cross.

Shadow, our resident assassin extraordinaire, has continued to find time to show her skills. Since June she has participated in 12 competitions, and earned some 60 CFs! These competitions range from DJB wide to both of CSP’s recent events, Deception and the house-feud Survivors! As thanks for her efforts, I recommend she be awarded this Dark Cross! Shadow Nighthunter isn’t just the Battleteam Leader of Tacitus Athanasius. She is also a leading example to her Battleteam of what consistent activity looks like, particularly in the big Clan Event ‘Operation: Starfall’. It is true that she has participated in 15 competitions, organized 3 competitions, wrote in 1 ACC battle, and earned 2 Crescents with Sapphire Stars, 2 Crescents with Emerald Stars, 3 Clusters of Ice, and 10 Clusters of Earth. But more importantly, 5 of those competitions were for ‘Operation: Starfall’ and she placed in 4 of them. She even gave her Quaestor a run for her money in several of the competitions. Such events are special and consistent participation is greatly appreciated since it helps drive the Clan forward. Shadow is a great example of the sort of member that helps Clan Scholae Palatinae and House Excidium create some awesome stuff together both as a leader and a clan member. Therefore, I am pleased to present to you a Dark Cross for the excellent example you set for others, particularly in ‘Operation: Starfall’.
