Primary reason

Celevon is a rock. Period. He is easily one of the hardest working and most dependable members I have encountered in my short time in the club. He not only follows through on his promises without fail but also possesses exceptional initiative to see what needs to be done and tackle it with maximum effort. For unit or organization lucky enough to call Cel2 a member, he is a fire and forget weapon, destroying any task placed before him. He is without question a model leader and member.

Celevon’s raw statistics are nothing short of mind blowing and tell the tale of a member who leads by example. Since his promotion in May he has accumulated two Crescents with Amethyst, a Crescent with Sapphire, three Crescents with Emerald, four Pendants of Blood, 492 Clusters of Fire, 34 Clusters of Ice, and a Legion of the Scholar. He is currently the most active poster in the House Qel-Droma runon. He was also the first member in the entire Clan to post five out of five events complete in Fading Light: Nicht Ka and finished 8th of 29 in the Clan event Operation: Figureheads just prior to that. During that same period he worked with Wally to run the Antei Contract Bureau pilot program, serving as the ACB commissioner since June. His ACB stats are no less impressive as he has written twenty-four contract prompts and graded fifteen. The prompts alone total over 8,500 words. All of this was accomplished while successfully leading the Arete battle team as the team commander.

It is my honor to present this small token to Celevon for everything he does for House Qel-Droma, Clan Arcona and the Brotherhood. You are inspiration to us all my friend!

Additional reasons

During his time in Qel-Droma, Celevon has been an exemplary model of a member and leader. Always eager for work to improve Arcona, he is never resting on past success, always driving to do more.

He was one of the first members to help set up the ACB, and, whilst others have stepped down, unable to keep up with the stream of requests, he’s continued, always eager to set up and mark contract after contract, ensuring members always feel engaged and rewarded for their actions, a role that could be full time in itself. And yet, he has done it as a BTL for Arete alongside without ever faltering. He’s a shining example of a good leader, communicating with his members, making sure their voice is heard and their needs are met. Not only does he run the ACB, he ensures that Arete makes a good showing of itself every time it’s needed. A task he approaches with inexhaustible patience and drive.

Not only this, Celevon is a pillar of activity himself in competitions, with a real ‘lead from the front’ attitude. He has regularly fully participated in events for the DB and the Clan, often the most prolific in the latter. Not a week goes by when I don’t read about another award he has gained, be it Crescent or Cluster.

Nothing will ever show my gratitude enough to everything Celevon has done, and continues to do, for Arcona. Hopefully this will help. You totally deserve this, Celevon. Congratulations, and thank you.

Nikola Valtiere, Quaestor of Qel-Droma

Nikola Valtiere Erinos, 2014-11-12 17:27:15 UTC

Cel2 (as we lovingly call him, because, reasons) is a rare kind of member who takes the inch that you give him and runs for a mile with it. Originally, I had brought him on to help me get the ACB up and running, which meant handling the influx of contract requests and writing out custom-intros for each request and creating a fun/engaging mission for the members to tackle. Bit by bit, he kept asking if he could do more to help, leading into grading matches in a timely manner and keeping the queue regularly cleared. Prior to this, the ACB had always lived and died on my time to dedicate to it, which can be hard as a Proconsul or Consul. Celevon didn’t blink or hesitate and simply took the reins, though, and eventually I was able to stop checking the queue entirely because I trusted him and the small team he selected to work with us as well. I can’t begin to tell you how awesome that is, to willingly take on responsibility. It takes a lot of writing, and a lot of research and work to create so many unique prompts for members. It takes even more patience to not just give a grade on a match, but to offer real-time feedback on every single contract and show members where they can improve.

And he does all of this while keeping up with the standards of a Battleteam Leader in Arcona; he is a full participant in every Arconan activity, competition, or operation, and was a full participant in the entire Fading Light Vendetta.

I can’t say enough for how important Celevon is to Clan Arcona, as a leader and a competitor. Keep up the amazing work, Cel2, and thank you again for helping make my job as Consul easier.

Primary reason

Celevon is the kind of member who does everything you throw at him, happily, then comes back asking for more. In the ten months since his promotion to Equite 3, he has been a powerhouse of activity.

In addition to the four months he spent as Quaestor, he has organized three competitions and participated in fifty-two. That's over five competitions a month, every month, earning him no less than fifteen Crescents. In that same span he has garnered nine Clusters of Fire, sixty-nine Clusters of Earth, three of the newly minted Clusters of Graphite and an astounding sixty-three Clusters of Ice (for over 25,000 words of fiction). Let's let that sink in for a minute. Over the past ten months, he's essentially written a good-sized Novella worth of Dark Jedi Brotherhood fiction.

Were his participation not enough, he has been active behind the scenes as well. He has helped proof and rewrite articles for Arcona's ongoing Wiki update, and is currently helping Arcona's newest Battleteam Leader settle into her role as Gatewarden.

For his tireless dedication to Arcona and his astounding level of participation, it is my honor to recommend Celevon Edraven Erinos be awarded the Grand Cross of the Dark Side.

It’s not very often that one meets their long lost #twinning brother, but that I did when I met Celevon. Not only is he my equal in epicosity and fabulousness, but he far surpases me when it comes to how much work he can do non-stop. He’s a font of knowledge and it often my go-to for questions ranging from the stupid to obscure. Ever supportive and helpful to both me, and the new Battleteam leader, Celevon is a dedicated worker and friend. He frequently requests projects and offers a helping hand. His presence on telegram is always friendly and amusing, making him a joy to talk to and work with. Celevon’s my first choice to bounce ideas off of and gives good advice on the ins and outs therein. Despite working and balancing real life, Celevon’s activity, helpful nature and dedication make him more than deserving of Grand Cross.

Congratulations, brother. I look forward to working with you again soon.

I can always rely on Celevon to greet me in the morning with a gif of coffee on telegram, a whole pot of it being poured into a lovely welcoming mug. Celevon is an active presence within not only the Shadow Gate’s chat group on telegram, but the House and clan, along with several of others. He is an awesome individual to converse with. Cel is also highly willing to discuss character development, history, and more. This is a trait I personally love seeing within the community and encourage as it helps not only ourselves, but others and newly interested recruits establish their characters fictionally. There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t see a message from him announcing he is writing something: often for the DJB, other times for his hobbies. Either way, I admire his ability to manage his commitments between hobbies, the club, work, and life.

And let us not even begin with Celevon’s work ethic. For some who had exited a long time of leadership, they welcome it. Celevon, on the other hand, remained itching to jump in and aid with whatever he could. He is even keen on offering advice and insight to new and learning leaders. I, for one, look forward to working with Celevon, to learning what I can from him, and enjoying what particular uniqueness he brings to the team. Keep up the fantastic work!
