Areticus is layered with slicked back black hair down to his shoulders. He is fair skinned with a complexion reveals his youth, yet his stern and studious posture projects a greater maturity. He has no visible scars or marks that entail a veteran, and looks to have the build of the average athlete. His blue-eyed gaze and firm jawline has the traits of stern confidence and respectable intelligence.

The Dark Armor is one of the more prolific traditions of the Dark Side of the Force. Each set is uniquely crafted with a variety of enhancements suited to the individual's needs.
Thermal Spectrum
Dark Armor is equipped with the ability to cycle its view-filter into the thermal spectrum. Coming at the cost of reduced range of view, this mode allows Areticus Altainatus to see sources of heat as opposed to visual light, such as body heat.
Matte Black Pattern
Dark Armor has been designed with a black color scheme. Each component of the armor shares the same matte application of black.
Mobility Augment
Dark Armor has added aggressive traction and metal to the footwear on this Dark Armor. This gives Areticus Altainatus better traction with the ground, but steps are much noisier and rougher with the ground they come in contact with.
Energy Resistance
Dark Armor has been altered with an armorweave underlay to increase resistance to energy based attacks at the expense of mobility normally attributed to Dark Armor.

The Armorweave Cloak is a loose garment with an attached hood that is worn over existing armor or clothing to protect the wearer from the elements, or to hide someone's appearance that is made from armorweave cloth material capable of dissipating indirect blaster bolts.
Mark Of Pride
As a symbol of recognition, Armorweave Cloak has been imprinted with the emblem of Areticus Altainatus's clan. The design is large and easy to see, implemented in such a way as to draw attention to it through changes in texture and an intelligent use of border color.

The Scan Pulse is a wrist-worn device that sends out a 360-degree pulse and reveals detected life-forms on a small view screen even if they are behind cover or out of sight. When used with Shepherd chips in an entire unit, it can be utilized to distinguish between friends or foes.

Through a combination of preparing, studying, and analyzing, Areticus Altainatus creates detailed battle plans and tries to think two steps ahead of the enemy. At times, however, this can lead to Areticus Altainatus creating complicated schemes that can baffle less intelligent subordinates.
Areticus Altainatus's life is filled with training and learning for all sorts of situations, from the mind-numbingly normal to the utterly bizarre. As such, Areticus Altainatus has developed into a rather resourceful individual. This has made Areticus Altainatus a mix of academic and scholar, always with something to offer to any discussion. However, knowledge and training does not always translate well to the tense environment of the battlefield, and no amount of textbooks can prepare one for reality...
Despite his line of work, Areticus Altainatus still sees himself as a refined gentleman and will often put on a show of being haughty and arrogant to those he does not know. Areticus Altainatus only lets the mask slip to show his more laid back nature to those he trusts. To those he dislikes, he will actually become even more insufferable as taunts and quips without any regard for who or what he might be offending.
Areticus Altainatus is extremely cocksure and headstrong. Possessing a keen wit and exceptional level of intelligence, Areticus Altainatus will often use his superior intellect to humiliate lesser minds. Basically, he is kind of a jerk, and that can sometimes get Areticus Altainatus in a bit of trouble.
Areticus Altainatus wears out his opponents through use of the Force, agility, and evasion. Once he has sufficiently tired his foes through the Force, physical, or mental assault, he quickly tries to find a means of cleanly and swiftly dispatching them - usually resulting in a somewhat risky all-or-nothing attempt at a deathblow.
Through careful study and dedication to isolated martial-combat, Areticus Altainatus has turned the act of dueling into an art form. A keen eye and attention to detail allows him the ability to learn their opponent's idiosyncrasies while fighting. Areticus Altainatus then uses his own skills to capitalize on the opponent's weakness. Because of this calculated approach to isolated duels, Areticus Altainatus has a harder time taking on multiple opponents at once at higher skill levels.
