Since becoming BTL of Void Squadron a short time ago, Kalon has lived up to his promise of activity. He has recruited several active members to Void and is constantly working, via IRC and the Newsgroup, to keep people active and excited about the ongoing competitions within the BTL and Clan. As if that weren't enough, he participated in seven events during the Arconan Family Feud, garnering a total of 92 points all on his own. If he keeps it up, I have no doubt he'll go far within Arcona. Congrats, Kalon - and thanks!

Kalon was a whirlwind of activity while running Void Squadron, getting his members up to speed on Clan news and events with several emails to the members, pushing them to become active by running numerous competitions (Arcona Invicta!, Suited Up, Rules of Engagement, Block Time, Shock & Awe), constant IRC and egroup activity, and creating a BTL report. He has also participated in several competitions such as Quick & Easy #7, Void Squadron Trivia, and A Day in the life of. Thank you for your efforts and stepping up to the plate when needed!

I’m requesting this Anteian Cross for Kalon for the hard work he put in during the first two weeks of the Dark Crusade. Kalon is one of those members that everyone affectionately teases and despite what he thinks, is well loved by his peers. His hard work allowed him to participate in four competitions, getting in entries for Ancient Stones, The Hunt, the SA Encryption course and helping his wiki team achieve 2nd place in the Krayiss II wiki event. His dedication contributed to Arcona’s placing and the fantastic showing from Galeres. Congrats, Kalon.

I am honoured to be recommending Kalon for this Anteian Cross. His hard work inside of the Dark Crusade has helped Clan Arcona and House Galeres to achieve dominance on Bhargebba. Her level of activity during the last phase of Dark Crusade has been fantastic.

During this phase of Dark Crusade Kalon has participated in the following events: Chronicle I, High Value Targets, The Plans, The Pursuit of Knowledge. Kalon has been a Battleteam Leader inside of Galeres. Helping lead an active and dedicated team through Dark Crusade he has continued to push himself and the members under him to achieve the very best of their abilities.He has continued to write multiple reports keeping each member of his team in the loop knowing that is going on all the time inside of the Brotherhood.

Kalon has done a lot behind the scenes that we take for granted as well. He is always checking on his members through IRC or Email, checking in and helping with anything they need. Serving as Kalon’s XO, I’ve had the chance to personally see how much he cares about Arcona and his team. There are many prime examples I could site of his effort and dedication, from his participation in the Dark Crusade to his personal devotion to Dark Forge.

Despite being extremely busy in real life, Kalon was always thinking of his team, and always did his best to be the leader they deserved. Kalon is a loyal and hardworking member of Arcona, and I couldn’t have asked for a better BTL.

Congratulations on the Anteian Cross, Kalon. Although life might draw you away from the Brotherhood, I think I speak for us all when I say I know you’ll always be doing your best for the Clan, and you’ll always be a treasured member of Arcona. Kalon knows what it takes to be an Arconan. He was an outstanding participant during the Dark Crusade, racking up a an astounding 17 entries! If this wasn't enough of a showing he continued to prove himself by earning a Silver Novae for Arcona!

During this time Kalon contributed to encouraging other members to participate through our e-mail threads, IRC, and Google+. He always replies to my e-mails in an extremely fast turnaround; whether it's an e-mail to check up on him or an e-mail advising me of how Qel-Droma is running and what would help us in the future.

Kalon is one of those members who you can always depend on. He’s friendly, hard working, not afraid to put his nose to the grind-stone (is that the correct turn of phrase?), and get his hands dirty. This Operation has proved it. He was all over it like a rash, participating in eleven events, placing first in the Scouting Report, second in Week Two Graphics, Second in Week Three Fiction, And coming third overall. On top of this, the kid has created a wiki page for an NPC has made and has just embarked on an ambitious project to create fifty more NPCs for the BT’s use, each with their own wiki page. He’s heading up the team and I’m very excited to see what he produces. Kalon, you deserve more than an Anteian Cross, but this is the best we can do for you for now. Keep on rockin, kiddo.

Kalon has been Quaestor of Marka Ragnos for a little over five months now, in that time he has been keeping in contact with his fellow summit members and his House via mailing lists and IRC. He has also run a couple of competitions and participated in a handful.

Kalon managed to participate in the puzzle, trivia and graphics events in round three of Fading Lights.

The position of Battle team leader is in some ways, more difficult than that of an Aedile or Quaestor. The responsibility of a BTL to guide and mentor the members of their team from their first days in the DJB to the rank of Knight is one of the most important roles in the club. Over the past two months, Kalon has shepherded the members of his team, providing weekly emails outlining their promotion requirements, and taking the extra step to help focus his team members on activities they might actually do. He also provided an example for his members to follow through his consistent level of activity. Kalon helped to produce events for his team by organizing a fiction competition and bolstered his team's activity by taking part in three additional competitions. Kalon took his role as a leader seriously, and was an absolute joy to have on my House staff.

In addition to all of his efforts as my BTL, Kalon has been an extremely active member over the course of the past year. Since his last merit award, Kalon has participated in 19 competitions. He has won five crescents, 18 clusters of fire and 9 Clusters of Ice. He has passed nine Shadow Academy courses, and written over 4800 words of fiction, splitting his efforts between competitions and Run-ons. He also spent two months as a Quaestor, and one month as a member of the Wiki Staff.

This award is a small token of my appreciation and thanks for all of his efforts, as well as my wish for his continued success as he moves into the role of Aedile for House Karness Muur.

Tracinya is a perfect example of a member who aims to achieve, and achieve they did.

In total, since Tracinya's last merit award back in 2016, they have participated in 21 competitions. 15 of which were from the recent war!

Tracinya has earned 4 Clusters of Ice, 16 Clusters of Graphite, passed two Shadow Academy courses and wrote 1237 words of Fiction. An impressive listing, to be sure.

Let's not forget Tracinya's time in leadership, having served as a Quaestor for two months.
