The recently completed Phyle War was one of the biggest events ever held in House Qel-Droma, and a very successful one. All participants have been generously rewarded for their efforts, but the actual creators and judges of the competition have not recieved anything yet. Quaestor Strategos and Aedile Vassan have done a tremendous job setting the whole thing up, stimulating the members to participate and judging all entries within two days, which is incredibly fast.

Strategos, I hereby award you with a Steel Cross as a token of my appreciation for all the hard work you have put into this War. You really did a great job.

In the light of all the GJW activities following his resignation, I'd almost forgotten that Strategos deserved a reward for what he's done as Proconsul during Chapter One of the GJW. He was very busy in real life at the time, which forced him to resign later on, but he still managed to find as much time as possible to compete and encourage other members to do so as well. His leadership in Chapter One has really been very good, and it was one of the things which led to Arcona ultimately winning that Chapter. For his excellent service as my Proconsul during Chapter One of the War, I wish to reward Strategos with a Steel Cross. Congratulations, my friend.

Over the course of the Great Jedi War, Strategos has been both an active participate as well as having helped poke and prod many members to submit to events as well. In terms of his personal participation, he was in 15 separate events, managing to achieve placement points in almost half of them. Those placings were in multi-player events as well, meaning there were many matches that he had to have participated in to garner such points. As previously stated, he has been active in getting others to submit to events, and has also been an active participant in various online activities such as the weekly IRC trivia contests. Overall, his activity over these past few months is ample evidence for this award.

Strategos is a bit of an anomaly for a veteran of his tenure. He isn’t particularly talkative or flashy. He doesn’t care much about being in the front seats. He doesn’t ask for rewards when he helps out, and I don’t think he even bothers to check on whether he places in events. But he’ll happily, and quietly, participate in an astounding number of competitions from fiction to flash games without batting an eye. It’s the sort of persistent actively that is easily and commonly missed among the Brotherhood, much to our detriment.

Since his last merit medal in February of 2014, Strategos has earned 37 Clusters of Fire, 35 Clusters of Earth, 3 Legions of the Scholar, and a massive 28 Crescents, 3 of them Diamond. In addition to this, Strategos has been available to offer advice when needed and to help Qel-Droma when it found itself Quaestor-less.

For these accomplishments, I am happy to recommend he be awarded the Steel Cross.
