Having participated in a total of 7 events Rathus has been a real asset to Taldryan and one of the most active Journeymen of the House.

Rathus, for your dedication for Taldryan on the battlefields of the Dark Crusade, I am hereby rewarding you with an Anteian Cross. Congrats on your second Merit Award in a row, well deserved and of course well done.

Obelisk Prelate Rian Aslar Quaestor of House Taldryan #10701

Rathus Marr, one of Taldryan’s up and comers has been a joy to see fighting his way through the ranks of the Journeymen class, as well as on the Battlefield in the Brotherhood’s Dark Crusade to retake Sith Space. Rathus has participated in a total of 7 events throughout the Crusade, battling it out on various battlefields including Fiction, Trivia and various other platforms. During the Crusade Rathus has snagged himself 5 Clusters of Fire for gaming, too!

His activity on IRC has been fantastic, and truly awesome to have him on with us. He never fails to lend his advice over the Taldryan mailing list, either. Having earned his recent promotion to Guardian and earning his first Dark Cross two months ago, it is clear this member has something to offer.

For dedicated service to Taldryan by being active in day-to-day activities, as well as fighting on the Brotherhood’s battlefield, I wish to award Rathus Marr with an Anteian Cross. Congrats, brother!

  • Aedile of House Taldryan, Exarch Shaz’air Taldrya

Rathus has been my apprentice since shortly after he joined the House, and in addition to being an active participant in the Crusades and a presence on IRC, he has also volunteered to help with the character sheet projects. Rathus is an up and coming member, enthusiastic to help his Clan and better the Brotherhood as a whole. He has participated in seven Crusade events along with his work on the character sheet project and most definitely deserves this Anteian Cross!

Rathus is a unique member of the Brotherhood. You won’t see him enter competition after competition, looking for personal glory or fame. You will see him, however, during large-scale events, where he’ll show his pride, ability, and passion for Taldryan. The recent Fading Light chapters are testament to this. Rathus was part of the “A-team”, the team that won the Fading Light Run-on with an impressive showing of daring, skill, and team spirit. It doesn’t end there. He’s also competing in the current ACC tournament, having kicked it as far as the final 16 by virtue of eliminating two seasoned Brotherhood veterans. Perhaps we are all lucky that Rathus shies away from regular competitions, as he’d be the sole winner of all of them. His most defining trait is his communication abilities; not a day goes by in which Rathus can’t be found making the Taldryan IRC channel a livelier place, blending in smoothly with the younger members and our older denizens.. Rathus, I’d have awarded you something Harpy-themed, but this will have to do for now. - Kaz

Rathus, or Isthon in Diablo III, has been hugely helpful to the Diablo III community since the launch of the current Season last Friday the 15th. Not only did Rathus actually hit 70 prior to anyone else in the entire club this new season, but he did so in incredible time, in under 24 hours.

This didn't stop him from immediately wading back into lower tier content and grabbing fellow members and dragging them along to maximum level; I say dragging us along because Rathus is the very definition of a "carry" in Diablo III, where he mercilessly slaughters demons so that his compatriot Brotherhood members can earn experience and items far beyond what they would normally be able to alone.

All told, Rathus has helped so many people hit maximum level or gear up in stuff beyond our abilities that I can no longer remember all the names - myself, Montressor, Pravus, Terran Koul, Xena, Strask, Kalen, and Darkblade have all, in some way or another, been dragged through a torment we would be unable to complete alone, earning massive rewards in doing so. Sometimes, Rathus power levels. Other times, he merely demolishes the content needed for a member to complete a Seasonal Journey quest. Still other times he is sharing his loot with other Barbarians, so they too can gear up faster. He has spent more than half a dozen hours leveling fellow Clan mates in Torment 6 (which is well below the level he is capable of, but the only level that one can be powerleveled on), while also spending countless more with undergeared individuals driving his way through Torment X to help them gear.

This Season has seen an unprecedented increase in the Paragon levels and gear of Brotherhood members, allowing us to tackle new challenges and reach new heights. Without Rathus, many Brotherhood members wouldn't be nearly as equipped as they are now to defend Sanctuary from hordes of demons. So, to Rathus, thank you for your help!
