I literally could not ask for a better Aedile than Ernordeth. This guy is incredible. He has consistently gone far above and beyond my expectations both in the things I've asked him to do, and the things he has undertaken on his own initiative. I asked him to help me keep our activity tracker Google Doc up to date, and he has consistently had it updated before I could get to it including several times when there were multiple dozens of medals awarded all at once. He took it upon himself to email each member on Tarentum's roster each week and has successfully brought back several members including Frosty and Dox. He has been a constant positive presence in our IRC channel, helping me to mentor our younger members and rally them to participate in last month's competitions. He has racked up a crazy amount of gaming over the past month. He has also been in constant contact with each new member and although it's still a small sample size, our retention rate has become absolutely stellar as a result. One new member just submitted an advancement survey with perfect marks and I believe it is in large part due to Ernordeth's efforts to remain in constant contact. More than all of that, however, I want to recognize Ernordeth because over the past few weeks I've been going through some family issues in real life and have been unavailable for a few days. Despite being new to the position and relatively new to the Brotherhood, Ernordeth stepped up to the plate and kept everything running perfectly when I couldn't. It has been a huge weight off my shoulders to know I can rely on and trust Ernordeth as my second in command. Tarentum already owes him a debt, and I hope this can begin to show my appreciation for all he has done.

Ernordeth is a legend. He is the living embodiment and keeper of the spirit of Qel-Droma (or to use the phrase he coined “the Qel-Droma aroma”). Coming into the House as a new AED fresh from the land of sunshine and happy feelings (Odan-Urr) Ernor quickly became my rock. He is a friend, a mentor (as only a former HQD QUA can), a gaming buddy, an outstanding summit member and our biggest cheerleader.

Just since his promotion in November Ernor has garnered five Crescents (including a Diamond and Ruby), seven Pendants of Blood, 1930 Clusters of Fire, 3 Scrolls of Foundation for his Shadow Academy work and secured the coveted GMRG XII spot as the top gamer in the Brotherhood for 4th Quarter 2014. He also led from the trenches during the Great Jedi War, participating in all eleven events.

As impressive as his accolades in the past few months are, Ernor’s biggest accomplishment during this period was how he stepped up to the plate for Apex Brigade and the House. When the previous Apex BTL had to step down due to increasing academic load, Ernor immediately stepped up and volunteered to take the reigns. He wasted no time, putting out timely reports, creating competitions, generating hype, and training up Rhiann to take his place. His efforts were like a shot of adrenaline for the team and helped secure a solid foundation for Apex and the House.

I cannot thank Ernor enough for all that he has done for Apex Brigade, House Qel-Droma and me personally. On behalf of a grateful House please accept this small token of our gratitude.

Ernordeth has continued to be a central pillar of both Arcona’s gamers and the Clan community as a whole. Since his last merit award at the close of the GJW he has continued to lead from the front lines participating in twenty competitions winning a Diamond and Quartz Crescent and gathering an impressive nine Pendants of Blood, 750 Clusters of Fire and 1901 Clusters of Earth. Additionally he received a coveted Seal of Loyalty for his work on the FIST staff.

On top of all those accolades he has continued to serve as the Clan cheerleader of sorts, he is near omnipresent in Clan channels keeping things lively in whatsapp, telegram, IRC and on the Clan mailer. He is often the first to reply to announcements and site reports with words of encouragement and his trademark brand of spirit. I simply can’t imagine Arcona without Ernordeth, he’s a leader in and out of the ranks, a source of Clan spirit and just generally just fun to have around. Please accept this small token in gratitude for all you do for both Houses of Clan Arcona.
