Kookimarissia Mimosa-Inahj has become something of an institution in Clan Arcona, a pillar of our community whose impact is apparent even to a newcomer like myself. Since her last merit award on 19 February 2014 she has participated in a staggering twenty three competitions garnering a trove of shinies including: A Crescent with Amethyst Star, Six Crescents with Sapphire Star, Four Crescents with Emerald Star, two Crescents with Topaz Star, Six Clusters of Fire, and Ten Clusters of Ice. In that same time she also organized a clan wide and DJB wide competition. All this was accomplished during a time when she became a new mother!

It is my distinct honor to present Kookimarissia Mimosa-Inahj with a Steel Cross for her contributions to the Clan Arcona community.

Any successful unit depends on leaders within the ranks who carry the banner on the front lines, support, mentor and embody the spirit of the unit. Kooki is one of those members. It would be hard to imagine Arcona without her, much like her character she is the spiritual mother of the Clan. She is often the first to offer encouragement, congratulations or sympathy when it’s needed in IRC or the unit mailing list.

Beyond her role keeping up Clan morale, she keeps an impressive activity level on par with any positioned member of the summit. Since her promotion in November, Kooki has participated in nineteen competitions, garnering six Crescents (including a Diamond), a Cluster of Fire and seven Clusters of Ice. She led from the front in Arcona’s successful efforts in the Great Jedi War participating in ten of a possible eleven events.

While she is leaving Qel-Droma to return home to Galeres, we wish to present this small token of our thanks for everything she has done for House Qel-Droma and Clan Arcona. Congrats Kooki! We’ll always have a steaming teapot waiting on you.

Kooki was my deputy in Battleteam Arete, though she wasn’t officially put into the position until the very end. She helped with wiki editing, bouncing ideas for fiction and a theme for each report. I am very grateful for every ounce of assistance she was able to lend despite difficulties in her real life. She became known as the ‘Mom of Qel-Droma’ for her caring and sensitivity for members of our extended family in Arcona. While we were sad to see her go, I know she will happily continue on working towards the betterment of Clan Arcona as a whole.

Her recent entry into the November-December Pilot of the Antei Contract Bureau was nothing short of phenomenal, especially when considering that it was her very first contract. It’s rare for people to score above half in their first attempt, much less a second or third. The amount of people that I have seen accomplish this can be counted on one hand and it is a testament to her skill.

As far as personal accomplishments go, Kooki has participated in numerous competitions, earning several shinies along the way whether it be fiction or getting a gaming entry in for the War. Speaking of the war, Kooki participated in ten of the eleven available events, an impressive feat given the hectic real life schedule and balancing raising a child at the same time. Whilst we’re sad to see her go, and we know she will do great things for House Galeres, it is my pleasure to recommend this Steel Cross for Kookimarissia Mimosa-Inahj for her efforts and continued support of the Shadow Clan.

Congratulations, Amy!

Kooki has been a well received asset to Ektrosis. Since her arrival she has demonstrated a level of activity that shrouds all activity within the house by comparison. This includes interacting and assisting new members on irc while interacting with current members keeping up a friendly competitive atmosphere and promoting activity. On top of that since she has joined Ektrosis she has earned herself 36 clusters of fire, placing in 3 competitions, earning a scroll of foundation and 16 clusters of ice. Prior to her transfer she earned 7 placements in competitions and 24 Clusters of Ice since February. She has also competed in 42 competitions since February.

I wish more members were as active as Kooki and think that her highly competitive yet friendly attitude is a shining light for not just Taldryan but the Dark Jedi Brotherhood as a whole. I feel her level of activity demands attention by honoring Kookimarissia with a Steel Cross

Additional reasons

Kooki has been a beacon of activity since joining Taldryan in the middle of July. Since her last recogniztion, a post-GJW Steel Cross, she's hosted a Brotherhood wide poetry competition, as well as an event for Arcona's Maximum Brevity Series, as well as participated in a little under 40 competitions. From those competitions, she's placed in 11, a pretty respectable victory percentage if you ask me. She's also earned a boatload of Clusters of Ice for fiction participation, and a respectable number of Clusters of Fire!

She's also been an active contributor to Taldryan's discourse on the IRC and the Telegram.

Keep doing what you're doing, congratulations, and thank you!

Kooki, aka the Activity Machine, has had another great run over the summer. She has participated in 43 total competitions since her last award in May of this year. Not one to be happy with simply participating, Kooki was awarded six crescents for her work (two Ruby Stars, two Sapphire Stars and two Emerald Stars). Very importantly, Kooki went 9/10, 9/10 and 8/10 in the three weeks of the Pro Bowl that just ended. Her extremely high level of participation in an event that encompassed two other clans was greatly appreciated.

Ever the cornerstone of our House fiction activity, Kooki also wrote almost 11,000 words of fiction which awarded her 22 Clusters of Ice. She also earned six Clusters of Graphite which I believe represents Kooki going outside of her comfort zone to ensure she was participating in as many events as she can in the Pro Bowl. That kind of extra effort is something I love to see and reward people for. Toss in a Shadow Academy course for good measure and this is the picture of one heck of a summer.

Once again, I want to commend Kooki for her steady and reliable activity for our House and Clan. She is someone that can be counted on month to month, quarter to quarter and year to year as a leader when it comes to not just participating in events at all levels but also submitting entries of high quality. Thank you Kooki and congratulationsi!
