Since his promotion three months ago, Qormus Aquila has been an absolutely invaluable part of both the membership and staff of Clan Plagueis. He has been exceedingly active personally while also doing the job of Quaestor to a higher level than I have seen in years. Recognition for him is demanded by the high levels he has held himself to.

Individually, he was tied for the second largest number of total entries in Plaguies (and tied for 8th overall in the Brotherhood overall) submitted to the Escalation Rite of Supremacy at 19 and collected the 19 seals that go along with that effort. He was also one of only three members in the entire Clan to secure participation in all nine bins during the RoS. His entries secured 3 top ten event placements, including his first ever Nova award for his third place finish in the Run On competition. Overall since his last promotion he has participated in 37 individual competitions and has earned 6 event placement medals (the aforementioned Nova along with five crescents). He has accumulated 124 Clusters of Earth and 5 Clusters of Fire for his gaming activity, 14 Clusters of Ice for graphics, and 32 Clusters of Ice for his 11,755 words of fiction combined with 1,936 words of run on posts.

While his individual efforts have been admirable, his work in leadership has been to an even loftier standard. First, he took on the job of bringing a new House online in Plagueis, the first time in nearly 18 months that we have supported two Houses concurrently. He ran with the baton that was tossed to him less than 20 days before a major Vendetta event and drove participation in the event to the highest total between our two Houses. He did this by prioritizing his leadership duties to help generate activity and engagement in his House, even as fully half of his roster was not pledged to the same sub-faction as he was (In fact, it was one of his House members that he helped that tied him for second in overall entries while a member of a competing sub-faction). This sort of ability to set aside competitive advantage and keep one's duty to serve their membership is rare and should be rewarded. His activity working with said members including direct engagement on Telegram in both public chat and direct messages along with 24 email messages on his House email list or directly to members over the course of the event. He also had his first report, scheduled for after the end of the RoS, ready and posted as soon as the site ticked over to the due date (so, in essence, a full day early for most folks). Finally, leading up to the Vendetta he ran a series of trivia, puzzle, and fiction competitions (accounting for most of the 11 competitions he has hosted since his last promotion) and drove participation within both Plaguies and the Brotherhood as a whole. It's no wonder that he earned his Dark Maven: Leadership degree during that same time.

Qormus has cleared every bar that has been set for him in the past three months. In fact, he's set the bars higher than I could have asked for and cleared them as well. I do not think that Plagueis could have done nearly as well as it did during the recent Vendetta without him, and I know that we would not be looking forward to a brighter future. Thank you for your great work, and here's to a few more of these awards down the road!

Primary reason

Qormus has been a fantastic addition to the Voice staff over the last 8 months. He has been a thoughtful reviewer on sheets, including those he wasn’t taking direct responsibility for. He has issued 22 total remands on sheets, each with useful feedback for the member to make quality updates to their sheet. That is approximately 20% of all remands issued in this time. He has been responsible for 42 approvals as well, helping keep the CS queue empty. He has never had a poorly done remand, or incorrectly processed a sheet, and was very fast in getting on his feet with the CS queue process. He has also helped maintain the competition queue, keeping the word checks for fiction competitions at a very fast turnaround, though one I can’t pull numbers directly for.

Basically Qormus has continued to go above and beyond in being an excellent Magistrate, and I shall miss having him as part of the staff. Congrats Qor and best of luck as P:HM!
