It has a bipedal design with a heavily armored frame and broad shoulders, with a cylindrical head and bright red photoreceptors.

The Brotherhood-issued Researcher Robes is a set of armor granted to successful students of the Shadow Academy. It consists of crystal embedded pauldrons connected by a chain at the neck, as well as a large belt holding an emblem at the center and additional crystals on either side. A rune-inscribed tunic completes the ensemble with a black body suit and boots.

When Qormus Aquila does things, he makes sure everything is done correctly, no matter how long it takes. This means there are frequent delays in Qormus Aquila's work, but it's usually done right, at least.
Qormus Aquila is a master of fitting in and impersonation. There is scarcely a planet in the galaxy where he can't manage to find a way to fit in, be it throwing together a convincing imitation of local guard or pretending to be a regular local. Qormus Aquila is so good at such that he may have seemingly lost all sense of personal style and flair, leaving him as always simply the imitator.
Qormus Aquila is a lateral thinker, and when he encounters problems or dilemmas, he is very good at improvising and coming up with alternative solutions. This allows Qormus Aquila to find ways out of situations others might give up on. While these solutions are often not so obvious to others, Qormus Aquila can typically explain and lead others through his plan...as long as they are patient and willing enough to trust him outside thinking.
Qormus Aquila rarely acts without an alternate motive when it comes to lending aid or acting in a situation. Be it greed, power, or something else, almost undoubtedly Qormus Aquila is after something more than what he says - though sometimes Qormus Aquila is even blunt enough to admit to it. While his self-serving attitude comes as a boon, usually, to his survival and pocketbook, his relationships are often strained by his outright selfish attitude.
Where most err on the side of caution in a confrontation, Qormus Aquila prefers to charge in head-first. While others may skirt a battlefield or keep their careful distance, Qormus Aquila rushes in with devastating attacks with seemingly no regard for safety, relying upon instinct and possibly armor to protect him from dismemberment and death during his all-out attacks. Qormus Aquila is a force to be feared on the battlefield, leaving a trail of death and destruction. However, Qormus Aquila's blood-hungry ways put him in far more danger than the normal combatant, often resulting in needless injury and suffering, trading safety for pure offensive ability.
When Qormus Aquila gets in trouble, he finds no fault in bravely turning tail and getting the hell out of dodge. Obviously, this means that he tends to survive even the most deadly encounters... but the same can't always be said for his compatriots. This fact hasn't exactly made him the most popular among his peers, but hey, at least Qormus Aquila isn't dead yet.
