Alifal does not leave his friends behind. In fact, he will often bring a friend with him on missions - even when their presence is not necessary. When not on a mission, he is often found mingling in a group or with his squadron. His natural ease interacting with others regardless of societal differences gives the perception he is a team player. While this helps him immerse himself with others, his dependence on others creates a negative belief that he is a simpleton that cannot complete things on his own.

Alifal Bav does not charge a high price because he has to pay for a life of luxury; he charges a high price because he knows that he is the best in the game and worth the credits. Those who do not know Alifal Bav will feel he is gouging them, but those who have seen him in action know that he always delivers. This bravado follows Alifal Bav around and builds on the success of completed jobs and can be off-putting to other Mercenaries that will try and lash back by pointing out his failures.

Alifal Bav is very cheerful and happy, and always looks on the bright side of life. When chewing on life’s gristle, he doesn't grumble, but gives a whistle. He always hopes for the best, and enjoys laughing, smiling, dancing or singing. This unending optimism often improves the morale and spirit of everyone around him, and Alifal Bav is always quick with a smile or a joke, even when drawing his terminal breath. This same exuberance can also be tiring to more jaded curmudgeons.

If there is one thing Alifal is outside of a pilot it is a flirt. While he doesn't have to flirt with every woman he meets, more often than not he does. This would be good if he was a smooth talker, but that is one skill he hasn't mastered. While he has occasionally been called cute during these attempts, he has also gotten into fights with some women's significant others, or simply annoyed the people he flirts with.

As a skilled fighter pilot, Alifal prefers maneuverability over speed while in his ship; seeing the need to go fast as a liability, not an advantage in space combat. As a result, he will often fly at slower speeds than his opponents - allowing him to utilize his thrusters to maximize his range of motion. This makes him difficult to hit and incredibly difficult to ‘shake off’ once he is in pursuit. This does hinder him, though, due to his enemies being faster and possessing the ability to accelerate out of his range.

Through a mixture of cocksure courage and arrogant swagger, Alifal Bav will not back down from a challenge when called out, even if the wiser path is to walk away or let it go. Alifal Bav's personality does tend to rub a lot of people the wrong way, which generally puts him into situations that escalate quickly to violence. While he may not be the one to always start a fight, he will always see it through to its conclusion. Some have tried to play a challenge off as idle banter, but when Alifal Bav initiates or accepts a challenge, he does not hold back.
