Scarlett Kelrune can be very protective, and when any of her friends are being bullied or threatened, she will step in to defend them. This can get Scarlett Kelrune in trouble when she refuses to back down during these exchanges, and sometimes has trouble discerning between friendly teasing and intentional insults. However, because of this fierce loyalty, her friends know that no matter what, Scarlett Kelrune will be there for them.

Scarlett Kelrune grew up never knowing her family. She was sold into slavery very young, and was put to work almost immediately. However, due to her age, Scarlett Kelrune bounced from owner to owner until she became a teenager. Having to endure horrible treatment during this time in her life, Scarlett Kelrune has lingering trust issues while carrying an absolute hatred toward slavers. If confronted with acts of slavery, she will most likely lash out in some way, regardless if it compromises her objective.

Scarlett Kelrune has a legendary and virulent need for vengeance. Once crossed, she will make it her life’s work to ensure that whatever slight was received is repaid tenfold. This need for vengeance can be all-consuming, and can often lead to short-sighted decisions.

While generally laid back and more than happy to offer a quip of sarcasm, Scarlett Kelrune's entire demeanor changes once combat begins. She becomes focused and quiet, with her smile replaced with a look of grim determination.

Where most err on the side of caution in a confrontation, Scarlett Kelrune prefers to charge in head-first. While others may skirt a battlefield or keep their careful distance, Scarlett Kelrune rushes in with devastating attacks with seemingly no regard for safety, relying upon instinct and possibly armor to protect her from dismemberment and death during her all-out attacks. Scarlett Kelrune is a force to be feared on the battlefield, leaving a trail of death and destruction. However, Scarlett Kelrune's blood-hungry ways put her in far more danger than the normal combatant, often resulting in needless injury and suffering, trading safety for pure offensive ability.

Though only few are fully aware of it, Scarlett Kelrune’s fearsome reputation on the battlefield comes from a lack of self-restraint. Should something overwhelm her, the Echani’s Resolve shatters and she willingly succumbs to her Rage. This state of mind forces her to fully focus on whoever or whatever triggered it, to the exclusion of all else. When the threat has been dealt with and the Rage subsides, the Echani is left in a vulnerable state, which can be exceptionally dangerous to her should this occur on the battlefield.
