Zujenia is a force to be reckoned with. In the past five months, since her promotion to Savant, I've had pleasure of seeing this first hand. She is a stalwart friend, a loyal collaborator and Summit-member, and a fierce competitor. She leads through sheer grit and unfailing ebullience, and House Qel-Droma is better for having her as its Aedile.
I'm sure the other recommendations will talk at length about her personality, about how she goes out of her way to make every member - Arconan or otherwise - feel welcome; about how she is always willing to lend a friendly ear when one of her members is feeling down; about how she puts everyone's needs above her own; about how she is ever patient when members have trouble and need assistance. But let me just add that she does it genuinely - not out of a sense of duty, not because its her job, but because she truly cares about everyone in the Brotherhood.
On a more quantifiable level, Zujenia's activity proves she leads by example. In the past five months she has participated or organized a staggering 40 competitions. In the process, she earned herself 3 Amethyst Crescents, 5 Sapphire Crescents, 4 Emerald Crescents, 1 Topaz Crescent, and a Quartz Crescent. She also garnered 44 Clusters of Fire, 17 Clusters of Ice, and 25 Clusters of Graphite. During the recent Great Jedi War, she participated in 9 different Bins, earning 13 Seals of Wrath. Perhaps most impressive of all, she took home two Novae - a Bronze and a Gold.
As I said, she's a fierce competitor.
She has also worked hard putting together and managing Qel-Droma's fledgling recruitment program. She's organized accounts across multiple social networks, coordinating posts between them in an attempt to lure both new members and old. Though social networks have always been slow to pay dividends to the Brotherhood, she is dauntless in her efforts.
In addition to her efforts on social media, Zuji made it her personal mission to contact each and every one of her members on a daily basis, endeavoring to keep them on track and motivated, and to see if they needed any submissions proofed or critiqued.
Zujenia, you consistently astound me with both your demeanor and your unflagging level of activity. It is with a great deal of pleasure that I recommend you be awarded the Grand Cross of the Dark Side.

Zuji, you said to me once, not long ago, that, "the health of the members and units are first and foremost my concern as a leader, and if I am not able to perform to some degree for them than I need to take that step." Personally, I feel as though no more need to be said in this recommendation, because that statement speaks for itself. Our duties as leaders who volunteer to care for the members under us is to provide for them, protect them, and recognize them. No one does that - no one cares for them - as well as you do. We don't do as well as we could or sometimes should. But we're still here to care for them, and honestly more so than anyone else currently could. You're someone they believe in and that's more help than harm, always; especially when one is so conscientious of others and their own impact on those around them. That is why it is my pleasure today to be putting you forward for a Grand Cross.
Zuji has been not only a tireless member of Arcona, but also one of her most outstanding Aediles for the last five months, and one of her foremost Masters in the apprentice program. Around the Brotherhood, Zuji is known, colloquially, as "whatsherfacehappysuperintroducationperson" for her sheer positivity and continued passion for greeting and welcoming every single member of this club to whatever chat they may be entering. Every. Time. She brings this same friendliness, care, and energy to her services as a leader, a constant and open first point of contact for all members under her care in her House - and even those outside it; even those outside the Clan. If she is available, Zuji always offers her help, be it proofing at an ungodly hour, answering questions of members, providing resources or information from the wiki or reports, etc. Zuji consistently provides for her members in tracking their activity and writing recommendations for them, developing projects and fictional storylines and characters with them, and a multitude of other things as her Quaestor can detail. In the long view of the club, Zuji is a mentor and leader to everyone, not just the people she's recruited and trained - one to Knighthood and another to Acolyte - but also to the Brotherhood as a whole. These qualities make her a leader for future generations, and I feel comfortable in saying that I know we can entrust the Clan's future and more, a piece of the Brotherhood's future, to young and brilliant beacons like Zuji. When it comes to leadership, there are those who lead by example and those who lead with personality. Zujenia does both, and she does them well. She is a constant source of encouragement and cheerfulness, and is truly an example of of a great leader within Arcona.
During the war, Zuji’s efforts to inspire and encourage were on constant display. Despite the fact that her real life is incredibly busy, with two jobs and constant farm work, she committed to personally contacting every member of the clan every day, to ensure that everyone was on track for participation. She also participated in nine of the bins, proving her willingness to set a good example for the other members of Arcona.
Zuji is a great leader and a great friend. As such, I would be honored to lend my voice in support for awarding her the Grand Cross. Congratulations, Bestsisprentice! You are truly one in a million!

Since Zuji's last recognition six months ago she has been a nonstop powerhouse of activity with a constant presence in Arcona's events and of course Discord. Diy organized one competition while participating in 83, with 109 gaming activities that earned 279 Clusters of Fire and 92 Earth. She is hopping with words, for a total of 5,570 in 2 fictions and 3 RPs, gaining 20 Clusters of Ice. She also nabbed 18 Clusters of Graphite, passed 2 courses and delivered 9 news comments and earned the clan 327,260 total credits.
Along with the competitions were awards, with 1 Crescent with Diamond Star, 1 Ruby, 3 Amethyst, 8 Sapphire, 1 Emerald, and a Topaz. Last but definitely not least, Zuji participated in 12 GJWXV events - smashing all 9 bins - earning a Silver Nova for the RO and assisting in Arcona's 1st Place. For Zuji's constant presence, positivity and willingness to help others we are proud to award a Grand Cross!
