Since his rise to Knight, Kylex has impressed me with a wide breadth of activity, and a solid dedication to the most recent Clan event ‘Midnight’. As a result, he has wrote 1422 words of fiction, 581 run on words, passed 1 SA course, and completed 11 competitions. Most importantly, almost all of those competitions were for the Clan event ‘Midnight’, which provided House Excidium great support in its efforts to dominate the leaderboard, where he placed individually in the runon, gaming, fiction, trivia, and poetry. He also placed 8th overall, which speaks to his dedication to his House, and his superior participation in ‘Midnight’. During these efforts, he acquired a Crescent with Amethyst Star, 5 Clusters of Fire, and 4 Clusters of Ice. The numbers say a lot, but there is more! In addition his steady activity over the last several weeks, he has also been a steady community presence for House Excidium, doing a great job interacting with the rest of the clan and making himself available to help people find a fellow gamer. This was crucial in boosting ‘Midnight’ gaming participation.

Overall, I am more than impressed with Kylex’s performance these last few weeks, and more importantly his efforts to help ensure that House Excidium placed well in both the overall standings, individual standings, and the overall points. Therefore, I am pleased to recommend that Kylex be awarded a Dark Cross.

I am thankful for the contributions of Kylex for his recent contributions to our post-GJW efforts. Kylex recently helped me compile individual participation (by event) into excel, so we could then sort (by member) before compiling a second document in word that listed - by member - every event they placed, or participated, in for inclusion in my Proconsul report. This allowed us to archive the effort and participation of every member of Scholae Palatinae that helped us achieve the title of Third Clan of the Brotherhood. This entire effort took Kylex two four hour sessions (4 to convert to excel, 4 to convert back to word) that he did by hand with his dual monitors. And it saved me a ton of work so I could focus on other tasks for the Clan. For completing this task, and showing initiative to assist his Summit, I award him a Dark Cross.
