Ka Tarvitz is a passionate and invaluable member of the Odan-Urr community. Many know him for his zeal for the expanded universe but we in COU know Tarvitz as one of the most polite and reliable members to have around. He's a leader in the ranks who quietly sets the standard in activity and project contribution.
For individual activity he has participated in forty-five competitions since his last promotion (plus an additional eleven container competitions) and secured crescents in twenty seven of of them. He also completed four matches in the GJW ACC preliminary event, took third place overall in the COU-TAL coop event Desperate Measures and recently took second overall in the House Hoth event Suspicion on Solyiat. Tarvitz is one of the clan's heavy hitters when it comes to activity.
Beyond his activity and community presence Tarvitz single-handedly researched and drafted an approximately 10,000 word wiki page fleshing out House Hoth's home planet. As the House Hoth summit describes, this page is just one example of the can-do attitude and work ethic that makes Tarvitz invaluable in a volunteer organization such as ours.
Congratulations Tarvitz and thank you for everything you do for COU, our community wouldn't be the same without you. If you'll pardon me for saying so :p

As Turel already mentioned his beyond stellar numbers I want to focus on what Tarvitz brings to not only House Hoth but the entire clan. He brings a insane work ethic that puts most of us “active” people to shame. He is constantly in the thick of every House/Clan and DJB event out there. If he doesn’t place you can bet he still put in a ton of effort, trust me i know. I was on his Battleplan team for the Clan event Desperate Measures a event he did finished in 3rd place overall. Then again taking 2nd place in the most recent House Event Suspicion on Solyiat, Tarvitz continually puts his all into every event he can.
As if events was the only thing Tarvitz was good for, nope not in the least at all. After months of research, rewrites, blood sweat and tears Tarvitz completed the biggest addition to Hoth canon to date! He created a 21 page wiki article Notable Fauna: Strokera which single handedly populated a major continent on our new world!
Tarvitz also compiles the entire member achievements and formats it for my reports. He has done this every month I have been in leadership. He never once complains when I ask him if he can do it and in fact he always completes the task faster than any deadline I give him. He is one of the sole reasons I can get my reports out on time each month.
There is so much more I can say but I’ll let others chime in as well but at the end of the day, my dear friend you amaze me with the dedication and hard work you put into this club. You are always there for me or anyone in the Clan that needs help and I more than appreciate everything you do for Hoth and the Clan as a whole!
So congratulations on your very first and not last Grand Cross!!!

Tarvitz, our resident destroyer of Mouse lore and do-er of freaking everything. Turel and Edgar have gone over the numbers metrics, so Im just going to touch on what other things he brings to the team.
He is a constant source of chatter among his House and Clanmates. Often times challenging us to look deeper into our characters which often brings to light a new way to look at them, or even new ways to alter our CS's. While he loathes the new canon, he is very helpful in bringing some of the Legends material to light that can be of use to everyone. Lastly he is a constant help to the Clan by offering to proof ACC posts, fiction, reports, and is a mad man at creating new content for our House wiki page.
Congratulations my friend, this is well deserved!

Tarvitz is one of those rare members that you can always rely on to complete a task in a timely manner. Using the Notable Fauna Wiki page as an example, Tarvitz was always ahead of the deadline; several days before I was prepared to ask for a progress report, I was being asked to glance through and give him my thoughts on the creatures he had created. It's not often you find a member that apologizes for the depth of detail or for being ahead of time.
That is only but one example of the kind of person Ka Tarvitz is. He puts everything into his work, with no thought toward the recognition it will bring. He simply does it to bring more life and depth to the fictional backstory of not only House Hoth, but Clan Odan-Urr as a whole.
It is for this reason that I am pleased to be recommending Ka Tarvitz for a Grand Cross. Congratulations, mate! You've more than earned this!

Nobody is more deserving of a Grand Cross than Essik.
I have never seen a member contribute so much to not only his House and his Clan but to this Club. Essik is a good friend and a strong asset to this community (step off poachers he’s ours). Whether it's getting a conversation rolling by posting some of the most random stuff I’ve ever seen on Telegram to asking questions that make you think deeply about your characters, Essik is always starting and continuing chatter vital to bringing our members together.
He also is one of our strongest writers and one you always can anticipate will deliver a true work of art to any competition, wiki page or message he sends. This “Wikipedian of the Month”, whether due to passion or masochistic tendencies has delivered us over 7,000 words across both House and Clan pages including major original edits to Daleem, Pharos Station, the Kaist System, Planet Kaist, Trepus Mine, Solyiat, Severian Principate and the Dajorra-Yhi Concordant. Additionally, he has created and has been keeping up to date both ‘Quorahi’ and ‘The Fang’ pages containing approximately 5,000 and 5,900 words respectively. Lastly, he completed 275 minor edits for both clan, house, and DB level pages. These are often forgotten but are vital in the upkeep of an up to date wiki for the club. In summary, that equals out to 7,000 words of major edits, 10,900 words of original content, and 275 minor edits.
In addition to a massive amount of work to our wiki pages, and participating in 14 of our weekly community events, he has also earned himself a Dark Maven Degree, completed 5 SA courses, organized 5 competitions, and participated in 49 competitions that have earned him 3 Crescents with Diamond Stars, 5 Crescents with Ruby Stars, 10 Crescents with Amethyst Stars, 14 Crescents with Sapphire Stars, 5 Crescents with Emerald Stars, 1 Cluster of Fire, 72 Clusters of Ice, 8 Clusters of Earth, 21 Clusters of Graphite, 2 Dark Side Scrolls and 35,779 words of fiction.
Essik, with everything you do and everything you’ve done, we are honored to present you with this Grand Cross.

Essik remains a constant presence in Odan-Urr, willing to help or guide anyone, he displays an allegiance to not only this unit but to the Club as a whole. With every commendation comes the grand task of counting his wiki contributions. We not only do a quick look at what he’s done. Every edit, every word is counted to make sure he gets the appropriate award for the countless hours he spends serving the Club. So let’s begin.
Since his last award Essik has participated in 49 competitions earning himself 2 Crescents with Ruby Stars, 4 Crescents with Amethyst Stars, 6 Crescents with Sapphire Stars, and 2 Crescents with Emerald Stars. Essik is a very gifted writer and has written 3792 words of fiction not including 1885 words for Run-On activities to collect 16 Clusters of Ice. He’s also earned 2 Clusters of Fire, 26 Clusters of Graphite, passed 1 SA course and earned 1 Seal of Loyalty.
For his efforts in the Rite of Supremacy: Escalation he earned 18 Seals of Enmity, 1 Gold Nova and 1 Silver Nova. This helped us lock in a 4th place finish.
Now for his wiki work. Since his last recognition Essik has completed 414 edits for 8,860 words. Those pages include Desired One, The Myrkr Crusade, Sanctuary I, Sanctuary II, Sky Breach Base,House Sunrider, The Scimitar of Lord Hoth, Okami Armor, Zirael, Clan templates, Other Clan DB pages (Arcona, Naga Sadow,Vizsla,) other character DB pages, character sheet species pictures, new character categories for images, Rite of Supremacy: Meridian, Twelfth Great Jedi War, The Collective: Technocratic Guild, Fourteenth Great Jedi War, 30 to 39 ABY, Tenixir Revenants, Severian Principate, Fiction Center, DJBWikipedian of the Month/Archive, Rite of Supremacy Escalation, Thirteenth Great Jedi War, The Collective and The Unknown wiki page for the Seer's Faction. This almost constant Wikipedian of the month has earned 7 Dark Side Scrolls.

Having just recently been granted the position of Quaestor of the Guardian Corps, he will prove to be a strong asset and having seen how he handles the responsibilities of the Aedile position over the past 4 months, I have no doubt he will continue to do an excellent job.
Since his last award, Essik has participated in 34 competitions, earning himself 1 Crescent with Diamond Star, 1 Crescent with Ruby Star, 7 Crescents with Amethyst Stars, 6 Crescents with Sapphire Stars, and 1 Crescent with Emerald Star. Through his writing activities Essik has earned 47 Clusters of Ice for 16,508 words of fiction. He’s also earned 7 Clusters of Fire, 29 Clusters of Earth, 41 Clusters of Graphite, 23 Seals of Ascension and passed 2 Shadow Academy courses.
Essik has contributed nearly 200 wiki edits, including chasing down all of my edits to the Odanite fleet and redirects, editing Clan pages to update staffing changes and events, necessary edits to pages for other members, various DB pages resulting in an approximate addition of 4,000 words. His continued attentiveness to the wiki has landed him 2 Dark Side Scrolls for “Wikipedian of the Month” as well as our overwhelming gratitude.
In addition to all the above, Essik found time to run 4 Community Events and has participated in 3 additional events.
