Lucine has the fine features and high cheekbones that hints at nobility. Her copper-colored hair is streaked with fine black strands and frames her face in soft ringlets. Though she typically wears a small smile of amusement, that smile rarely touches her emerald green eyes.
Her skin is pale and flawless, the result of a rigorous beauty regimen. She is tall and curvaceous and is not afraid to utilize movements and poses that emphasize those traits.
While most deal in credits, Lucine prefers a more powerful currency: information and favors. As an information junkie, she maintains portfolios on people of interest; the wealthy, the influential, and those with an interesting skill sets. She determines what it is they want and offers it to them, in exchange for a future favor. They get what they want, and she gains a resource for future use. Everyone has a price, and she does not make an approach unless she is certain she has an offer that is too sweet for the intended target to pass up. There is a risk that her target will refuse to pay their debt. It is poor business practice to give anything away for free, so Lucine will put all of her time and effort into planning a suitable vengeance for the debtor, even if the debt is relatively minor in comparison.
A childhood spent amid Coruscanti nobility has taught Lucine one thing: a lady is always pretty, patient and above all, pleasant. Years of training for a place in proper society has allowed her to cultivate a veneer of formality, charm and grace that she uses to keep others at arm's length. While the mask is useful for hiding a hot temper, a tendency for sarcasm and an impatience for foolishness, it also conceals her strong sense of loyalty and introspective nature. She maintains her mask consistently around strangers, though she occasionally lets down her guard for those that she trusts. Stress, fatigue and emotional distress can also cause that mask to slip. Those that have glimpsed her true nature are often taken aback by the stark difference in personality, resulting in mistrust and alienation.
Lucine recognizes that sometimes, things do not go as planned. Though it is frustrating to see carefully laid plans fall apart, she does her best to avoid letting her anger show. Excessive anger leads to mistakes, and mistakes can get a person killed. Instead, she strives to turn her rage inward, to fuel her connection to the Force. But anger is not meant too be bottled up, and when it does slip free, it results in a rage that is truly terrifying to behold.
Power. Control. Knowledge. Wealth. These are the things that Lucine reveres above all others, and she has made it her life's mission to achieve all of these things in abundance. To make matters worse, the loss of her Master, the influence of others, and recent events are taking their toll. The darkness is becoming more tempting, and she is having a greater and greater difficulty adhering to her own moral code. This can result in hesitation during crucial moments, as she struggles to rationalize an 'evil' act to satisfy her conscience.
Lucine has become a master of the strategic retreat. She will not hesitate to use tactics such as running and hiding to put some distance between herself and her foe. She does this to buy herself time to strategize and devise a way to bring down her foe. She views combat as a last resort, and if forced to fight will seek to end the confrontation as quickly as possible. Some would call it cowardice; Lucine prefers to think of it as pragmatism.
Lucine considers combat to be barbaric and will go to great lengths to avoid it. When left with no choice, she will resort to flirtation, trickery and deceit. A consummate actress with a flare for the dramatic, she has little trouble using Subterfuge and Manipulation to put her foe off balance. She will also direct her narrative with subtle hints of Illusion and Mind Trick to make her lies more believable. This unusual combat tactic allows her to use her surroundings and her opponent’s discovered weakness to her advantage. However, her over-reliance on this unconventional method can backfire when she encounters an enemy clever enough, or strong willed, to see past her tricks.
