Neophyte Luka Zarkot
Luka's biological sex is male, though they display androgynously. They are thin and lanky, though their body has lean muscle, covered in tanned skin that is darker around their shoulders and face where it is more often exposed to the elements. They have a diamond-structured face and defined cheekbones, with a sharp, upturned nose covered in freckles that also speckle their cheeks. Their eyes are dark brown while their hair is cut short on the sides and back, with brown curls that fall forward when clean.
Luka’s attire varies based on whether they're planetside or aboard a ship or station, usually in light fabrics of muted colors and with a large, concealing hood. Although they wear worn boots while planetside, they are most often seen barefoot on ships and spaceports.
A patch of scar tissue a few centimeters in diameter, with deep indentations of teeth, stands out in contrast with the tanned skin between their left shoulder and neck. Long marks criss-cross along their back. There are also scars from blaster burns, some scrapes, and a few cuts scattered around their torso.

The Novitiate Brotherhood Robes are attire given to all who exit the halls of the Shadow Academy to join a Clan of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood. It consists of attire designed by the Herald of the Brotherhood as a mark of position, since despite containing members of the newest and most inexperienced ranks, they are still members of the Brotherhood proper.
All-Temperature Cloak
The All-Temperature Cloak is a loose garment with an attached hood that is worn over existing armor or clothing, designed of a thicker material that is especially good at protecting the wearer from hostile environments and harsh elements. Also good at hiding someone's appearance.
C1 Personal Comlink
The C1 Personal Comlink is a small cylindrical device that can be used to communicate including sophisticated encryption algorithms to transmit and receive over secure frequencies.
Flare
The Flare is a fire based signal. Capable of being shot into the air to alert others of location, they can also come in various colors allowing for a quick method of communication.
Breath Mask
The Breath Mask is a device that provides limited breathable air to whoever is wearing it.

The Novitiate Armory Lightsaber is a weapon given to all who exit the halls of the Shadow Academy to join a Clan of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood. It has a design that is standardized and mass produced cheaply, with the idea that they are disposable and easily recycled for parts, and that those who survive the early ranks will take the time to build their own superior lightsabers later in their careers. It produces the same powerful plasma blade as a basic lightsaber from a dull metal hilt, and is still capable of cutting through virtually anything including blast doors given enough time.

The Armory DL-44 Blaster Pistol is a weapon given to all who exit the halls of the Shadow Academy to join a Clan of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood. It is a reliable and highly accurate weapon that packs a heavy punch at medium range. However, it is designed as a standardized blaster pistol made of easy to recycle parts making customization impossible.
Luka Zarkot will never go into any situation head-on. Whether it be combat or just strolling down the street, they will stick to the shadows or cloak themself in the Force. The less they are seen, the better. If they cannot sneak up on someone, then Luka Zarkot will not bother confronting them.
Luka Zarkot never stays in one place for long, always seeking a thrill. They move from planet to planet to ship without any real concern as to who they travel with. Although it comes from a desire to explore and experience, sometimes those experiences can be dangerous - even deadly. Their drifting nature often makes it difficult to form lasting relationships with others.
Luka Zarkot is a lateral thinker, and when they encounter problems or dilemmas, they are very good at improvising and coming up with alternative solutions. This allows Luka Zarkot to find ways out of situations others might give up on. While these solutions are often not so obvious to others, Luka Zarkot can typically explain and lead others through their plan...as long as they are patient and willing enough to trust them outside thinking.
While generally laid back and more than happy to offer a quip of sarcasm, Luka Zarkot's entire demeanor changes once combat begins. They become focused and quiet, with their smile replaced with a look of grim determination.
Luka Zarkot doesn't like to kill people; instead they choose to injure their opponent until that person is unable to fight back or is otherwise incapacitated.
Through careful study and dedication to isolated martial-combat, Luka Zarkot has turned the act of dueling into an art form. A keen eye and attention to detail allows them the ability to learn their opponent's idiosyncrasies while fighting. Luka Zarkot then uses their own skills to capitalize on the opponent's weakness. Because of this calculated approach to isolated duels, Luka Zarkot has a harder time taking on multiple opponents at once at higher skill levels.
