Hector, Von Ricmore, HVR, VR has been a staple of House Deathwatch and Clan Vizsla for the last two years. Serving as BTL of Deathwatch and then QUA of Deathwatch when it became a house, it's hard to say his name without thinking of Deathwatch. Thankfully, I was able to operate as AED of Deathwatch underneath him and gain a mentor, to which, is still offering his much appreciated advice although he is out of office.

Since his last reward in mid-Feb, Von Ricmore has contributed to 14 competitions and earned himself a trio of Amethyst clusters. To me, his biggest contribution he has made was in my “Deathwatch’s New Home” competition which has yet to be graded fully but still bears VR’s magnificent contributions. In this competition, I asked members of Clan Vizsla to provide ideas for landmarks, native peoples, etc, to Deathwatch’s new home, Korus. Along with Occultan, VR has contributed in glorious fashion, contributing whole entries that will make their way into the upcoming wikipedia page, another reason Von Ricmore is synonymous with Deathwatch.

I’ll echo the statements made above, Thank you VR for all of your contributions over the last two years to make House Deathwatch what it is today, and the help you’ve provided, and continue to provide for its future.

Congrats Von Ricmore!

Since I joined Vizsla, Hector has been a great source of advice and ideas for myself and the clan and is constantly volunteering and jumping at anything I need of summit with quick turnaround times, such as DMing 4 RPs, emailing and engaging with several of our quiet members, and several members hinging on awol, resulting in at least one returning from the brink. He has taken the time to go through our roster to note last awarding for everyone and identify those that were a priority. Hector has written up several clan emails to identify all of the competition opportunities for our members and updated such to be added to our monthly report. His patience and understanding as Donny and I settled was wonderful. He has filled in knowledge gaps of both clan policy and lore, volunteered and is mentoring a student, assisted us with writing fictional direction, and I thoroughly enjoy having onboard his knowledge and eagerness of possessions. For Korvis and now us he has gone through the system and provided lists of suitable vessels within price range and what roles it could perform, all which led to better purchases than I myself would do. I'm glad to have him onboard with us and look forward to working with him on all things Vizsla!

Additional reasons

Hector has been an outstanding member of the Exarch Staff. He has been key in expanding RP's adaptation by running brotherhood-wide scoped adventures that help drive narrative investment and activity for the Brotherhood. He has been helpful in staff-related admin tasks: reading and vetting submitted RPs and then approving them, as well as weighing in on policy changes, updates, and logistical discussions for the RP Society. He is a valued addition to the team and I am always going to be happy to add my weight to any accolades heading his way!

Hector has been my right hand as I've moved into the position of Proconsul. Whether it be discussing ideas for fiction, possessions, RP's, character development or just complaining about video games he has no issues sharing his opinions and that is truly a valuable asset.

While Socorra will speak to the specifics of the activity, I can and will speak to the initiative Hector takes in reaching out, being active in Clan chats, and encouraging members to participate through weekly email reminders of available competitions.

Thank you for all you do Hector and I look forward to continuing working with you in the future.

Ricmore was, and still is, a valuable member of the Vizsla Summit. During my final months as Consul, he took on a lot more oversight of the clan on a day-to-day basis as time became an issue for me. Particularly he was instrumental in helping me keep tabs on members' activity for awards. One of the most fundamental things we do in this club is award our members for their activity. I would not have been able to stay on top of the awards nearly as well without his help. He was particularly helpful in motivating the newer members with emails letting them know where they stood on XP for both rank and Promotions. This provided motivation for them to remain active and engaged with the Clan. Another thing he did was weekly emails to the Clan with Competition details from both inside and outside the clan. Since we started this there was a noticeable uptick in activity.

He helped me create the templates we used for the emails. This was a big help when onboarding new summit members so that things remain consistent and easier to perform their tasks. Ricmore served under me two times and he has always been a boon to the summit. While I know that "talking" isn't necessarily awardable his input and advice in helping run the clan is far more than just "talking." Planning storylines, developing NPC characters, and worldbuilding are highlights of what clans do to make themselves an engaging place for our members. Ricmore is a master at this and very little of what happened in Vizsla since his last award to my retirement didn't have a high level of influence from Ricmore.

Socorra already outlined his activity. One key thing i would like to point out is his willingness to help members learn the systems. Particularly in the Role Playing and Gaming fronts. It is one thing to play games with others. Quite another to help teach them how to play the games and submit the gaming scores onto the site. Couple that with teaching members how to DM or participate in RP sessions. How to use Dice Madien and interface their character sheets into the RP sessions accurately. He has helped make me better at both through his guidance.

His tireless efforts are still being seen by members of the clan. He has continued to perform the tasks I had given him and taken on more as he helped transition the Clan to both a new Consul and Proconsul in a short period of time. He never seeks glory or recognition for his work. But, I am more than happy to help provide it for him.
