Life is extremely difficult in the galaxy and that's especially true for Appius Wight. He is many things. A Force Disciple, a child at heart, a man who likes a good joke and a caring, emotional soul. But one thing is for certain, he is very much an introvert and every now and then requires some time alone. Whether to meditate or just recharge his batteries so to speak. Socialization can be taxing on him so it's good to have a break.

He carries a family heirloom with him. It was a gift from his wife whom he married in 35ABY. He hasn't seen her since he joined the Brotherhood and is determined to find her.

Being a Sorcerer, Appius Wight is strong in the Force and particularly connected to the Living Force. For better or worse he believes that everything happens for a reason and that every living being is connected to the Living Force whether they are sensitive to it or not. Much to the annoyance of some around him.

Appius Wight beleives in the natural flow of the Force and is disgusted by the Suppression Force Power as he beleives it cuts one's connection to the Living Force and limits it's will in the universe.

Appius Wight hates conflict in any way shape or form both in combat and in personal relationships. However, when it comes to the Greater Good he will often do whatever is necessary to achieve it. This was something his master, Farrin Xies Tarentae taught him during their training together during GJW XIII.

Appius Wight understands this even if it does mess with his moral code somewhat.

After the events of GJW XIII, Appius Wight has become disheartened by the Jedi code and fails to understand why they beleived in no emotion, yet peace in a universe full of conflict and strife.

Despite this, Appius Wight remains on the path of the light. He remains approachable, easy to get on with and willing to do what he can for those he considers friends and allies and very much wears his heart on his sleeve.

Unfortunately events in his life means that he has developed a deep need to be accepted and appreciated by those around him.

Being a Mandalorian Force user, Appius Wight learnt from a very young age about the importance of survival at all costs in battle. Especially after the death of his father and Jedi Knight, Sterion Wight, in 25ABY.

Despite this, Appius Wight will try not to kill in combat if he can help it and prefers to maim or seriously injure, but that doesn't mean he won't kill if he has too.

However, if one were to break Appius Wight's moral code by, for example, torturing those he cares about or slaughtering innocents without remorse then his moral code gets thrown out of the window and his emotions take control. What happens next could be something Appius regrets. Or not depending on the situation.

Being a Sorcerer, Appius Wight is obsessed with the powers of the Force. As such, whether at range or in close combat Appius Wight will not hesitate to use his Force powers either on their own or in conjunction with his Lightsaber skills.

This is why Appius Wight is trained in Niman, a form not practiced by many in the Brotherhood due to its reputation for its practitioners being unprepared for real combat situations. Appius Wight disregards this and has spent years learning how to weave Force powers into his personal Niman style. He has taken great inspiration from Archenksov, the current Brotherhood Combat Master in his style of fighting.

However, his use of Force powers can leave him drained depending on the powers used. He also struggles without use of the Force and will be left vulnerable if he is cut off from it by the Suppression Force power.
