Life is extremely difficult in the galaxy and that's especially true for Appius Wight. He is many things. A Force Disciple, a child at heart, a man who likes a good joke and a caring, emotional soul. But one thing is for certain, he is very much an introvert and every now and then requires some time alone. Whether to meditate or just recharge his batteries so to speak. Socialization can be taxing on him so it's good to have a break.

Bounty hunting is a complicated profession and it's often said that beggars can't be choosers, especially in the line of work Appius Wight is subjected too. As a result of being a Mandalorian Force User and former Jedi, Appius Wight has become particularly picky about the contracts he accepts.

He has built up a reputation amongst Clan Taldryan for only accepting contracts where he believes the target deserves it. Either because they are scum, they had it coming, or simply the will of the Living Force itself. He see's the Mandalorian code as a guide rather than a set of strict rules to follow, even removing his helmet around those he considers a friend or ally.

Upon occasion this has put him at odds with other Mercenaries and Mandalorian's of the Clan who are more willing to accept any job in the name of credits.

After the events of GJW XIII, Appius Wight became disheartened with the Jedi Code and left the order behind.

Despite this, Appius Wight remains on the path of the light. He remains approachable, highly sensitive emotionally, easy to get on with and willing to do what he can for those he considers friends and allies and very much wears his heart on his sleeve as part of a need to be accepted by others around him.

Unfortunately, recent events have begun to develop a darkness within his heart which he represses and denies. Something others can take advantage of.

Appius Wight has often been described by his peers as having a Jedi like nature. Meaning he has a very kind disposition. Appius Wight is very much a Jedi at heart, selfless, brave, warm, approachable, easy to get on with and willing to do what he can for those he considers friends and allies, even enjoying a good joke and occasionally getting a little too competitive at games. He is the type of man however, that acts based on his heart rather than his head. Trusting his emotions more than logic, even if the logical solution is the best one.

He has a very strong moral compass and strives to achieve the greater good and set an example if he can. However, he has upon occasion distanced himself from those he does not get along with due to a need to be appreciated and accepted by others. He does this to avoid conflict as upon occasion his own self doubt can get the best of him.

After barely surviving Great Jedi War XIII, fighting Seraine Erinyes Ténama in Club Kasakar, and being a key player in the feud between Vizsla and Plagueis, Appius Wight has abandoned his former jack of all trades lightsaber form and trained in a more specialised form of lightsaber combat in order to better defend himself and others. Soresu.

When in close combat, he will use a combination of Soresu and Sokan to wear down his opponent until they tire, use the environment to his advantage, and then use his offensive Force Powers or a quick strike with his lightsaber to defeat his enemies.

However, this style of fighting is highly defensive and makes it very hard for Appius to be the aggressor in lightsaber combat. It also has the potential to make a fight last longer than it should, especially when the fight needs to end quickly.

Appius Wight is no stranger to using the Force to defend himself. Years of being hunted just for his sensitivity to that mystical power has taught him that the Force is his ally, and a powerful ally it is.

As such, he has learnt to rely on it, becoming his first choice for dealing with enemies, even before drawing his lightsaber. Whether it be Telekenesis to shift an opponent and objects, Slow to disrupt their movements, Healing himself in the midst of combat, or even using Force Lightning to destroy them.

Despite how devastating and horrifying this can be for his opponents, Appius can quickly find himself struggling as overuse of Force Powers can leave him extremely fatigued, and he is extremely vulnerable to the Suppression Force Power.
