Savant Appius "Zappius" Wight
Appius Wight is particularly tall, sporting an average human build. The Force-weilding Mandalorian has a pale complexion that gives his bright blue eyes a piercing sheen. He wears his ashen brown hair short and well groomed.
This Mandalorian has long arms, hands and legs which are natural given his taller height. On his face is a very faint, light stubble, the same colour as his hair which is hard to see unless you are up close.
Distinguishing marks
He has a long, diagonal scar above his hip on the left side of his body located where his left kidney used to be.
He retains a burn mark over his right shoulder which has mostly faded, but still shows visible signs of scarring up close.

Prototype: Mandalorian Beskar Armor
The Mandalorian Beskar Armor is immediately recognizable and a show of wealth, made entirely from pure beskar alloy and consisting of a helmet, shoulder pauldrons, wrist gauntlets, breastplate, codpiece, kneepads, as well as leg guards all clasped over a full body glove that provides both comfort and protection. Mandalorian Beskar Armor can be forged into many different designs and types of Mandalorian Armor, but every suit is unique. The helmet possesses an iconic T-shaped visor as well as an antenna tipped with a macrobinocular rangefinder that can be pulled over the viewplate. The armor is able to be pressurized via a toggle to allow the wearer to survive in space, toxic atmospheres, and under water.
Comfort Body Glove
Pure Beskar Mandalorian Armor has been fitted with a body glove near the skin that moves moisture away from the skin and keeps Appius "Zappius" Wight dry, helping to keep them more comfortable. This glove makes it impossible to further alter this Mandalorian Beskar Armor to provide additional protections.
Translation Database
This helmet is fitted with an intricate, internal database that allow it to translate languages in real time at the cost of the helmets macrobinocular function. Only spoken languages are capable of being translated, as well as only one at a time. The languages are then translated into Galactic Basic.
However, the translation appears on the helmets H.U.D display, which can obscure the wearer's vision. Also, in order to translate, the receptors need to either hear the language clearly, otherwise it doesn't work. On top of this, it requires a huge amount of processing power and cannot be used at the same time as any other function of the armor.
Nightlight
The lightning bolt upon Appius' chestplate can glow a bright gold. Illuminating a powerful light with three different settings. Dim, normal, and full power.
However, using this feature drains power from the rest of the armor, leaving other features switched off or powerless for the duration of this light being on. It also makes Appius stick out ostentatiously like a sore thumb.
Zappius
Appius' Beskar Armor is coated in a bright red paint from nearly head to toe. The helmet, chestplate, legs, and codpiece are all painted this colour.
In the middle of the chestplate is a vibrant golden lightning bolt that stretches from the top of the chest down to the lower abdomen. Underneath the armor is a plain brown undershirt whilst the boots of his armor itself are painted a deep purple colour.
Pure Beskar Alloy
This Mandalorian Beskar Armor has been constructed with pure beskar alloy. This pure beskar alloy allows Appius "Zappius" Wight to use their Mandalorian Beskar Armor to resist blaster and lightsaber attacks.
Jedi Star Compass
The Jedi Star Compass is a circular, palm-sized locket-shaped device held in place by an aurodium clamp. It is an ancient piece of astrogational technology developed by the Jedi. The lid of the compass is engraved with astromeridian etch lines, while the innards are stylized with a graduated bezel. A plasma-encased supraluminite lodestone attuned to specific points in hyperspace lies at the center of the bottom half, allowing safe passage through dangerous hyperspace routes to hidden Jedi worlds.
Sith Wayfinder
The Sith Wayfinder is a hand-sized device constructed primarily of kathol resin and cybotaro waxen glass in a pyramidal shape, similar to Sith holocrons. It is an ancient piece of astrogational technology developed by the Sith. Like a Jedi Star Compass, it acts as a hyperspatial lodestone, allowing safe passage through dangerous hyperspace routes to hidden Sith worlds.
Having walked the line in both the light and dark sides of the Force, Appius attempts to now balance the two. In his mind, one cannot exist without the other. Both sides have may brought him pain, anguish, and suffering, but he now sees the Force as a tool under his command, much like a lightsaber, and like most tools, it doesn't matter how you use it so long as it gets the job done.
Despite this, balance in the Force is not an easy thing to attain, some even saying it's impossible. Upon occasion, Appius feels the tug from both the light and the dark, trying to sway him one way or another.
At one point in time, Appius Wight believed the Mandalorian code to be more a rough guide than a set of strict rules to follow. This is no longer the case.
Now, he follows the tenants of the Resol'nare vigilantly, as he understands it as the way of life from which he came. He wears the armor, speaks the language, contributes to his aliit's welfare, answers the call of the Manda'lor when required. He swears to protect himself, as well as raise his children as Mandalorians now that he is a father, and above all else, protect his family.
Unfortunately, this dedication to his family and his code of honour can lead to him being manipulated by those that can take advantage of it.
The destruction of his aliit sent Appius into a downward spiral that resulted in his turn to the Dark Side, believing he was destined to be alone in a galaxy that conspired against him.
That changed when he met Ankira Irr. She became the first ray of light he had experienced in a long time. He became inspired by her kindness and her tenacity, she helped him rediscover who he was and he came to admire and love her, calling her ner cyare.
The old Appius comes to the surface when he's around her. The same kind, gentle being he was before the destruction of his aliit. Time around those he cares for has pulled him out of the Dark Side and into the Grey. However, old wounds and trauma linger at the back of his mind, vulnerable to be opened by those who know what to say or do.
Appius "Zappius" Wight goes by his day to day life based on what his heart tells him to do, wearing it on his sleeves and never hiding his emotions. He rarely ever plans ahead, and often says the first thing that comes to his mind. Sometimes he can be calm, at other times angry. Though he's often caught with a smile on his face, a joke, and a handful of wit in his words for those with an ear to listen.
However, at the same time Appius is a reserved and introverted individual. Tragedy has struck this Mandalorian on more than one occasion. The loss of his family and the sting of betrayal are wounds that are hard to heal. As a result, he has a hard time trusting those he meets until he gets to know them better.
There's a reason he is known as "Zappius".
In combat, Appius' powers in the Force is his first line of attack and defence, even before drawing his lightsaber.
His bag of tricks include Telekinesis, which he uses to try to push, pull, and choke his enemies. Slow is used to attempt to catch his enemies off guard and inhibit their movements, creating openings. However, Force Lightning is this Sorcerer's bread and butter, and is Appius' go too attack in most situations that allow it, earning him his namesake.
However, Appius' reliance on the Force leaves him extremely vulnerable should his connection to it be severed unexpectedly. He also doesn't have unlimited reserves, and if fights drag on for too long, he can find himself fatigued, giving his opponent ample opportunities and openings.
It's often said amongst Sith and Dark Jedi that Soresu is the ultimate expression of Jedi Philosophy. Appius derives a great deal of satisfaction and enjoyment from taking that idea and turning it on its head.
Through a combination of Dun Moch, Sliding Hands, Soresu and Sokan, Appius will get inside his opponents head by taunting and berating them, and will wait until they get frustrated or tire from fatigue before finishing the fight with his lightsaber or Force Powers.
However, whilst his style of fighting is very energy efficient, his own Stamina isn't much to write home about, and against opponent's who's stamina eclipses his own, he can find himself simply delaying the inevitable.
