Sera Kaern remains a most amazing Magistrate. Attentive, focused, and dedicated, I couldn’t ask for anything more from one of my staffers. He is always quick to jump onto things in Fiction Chat, answer questions for members, catch thing in the CS/Competition queues, and provide feedback for our ongoing projects (Yay feats!).

Over the last 6 months since his promotion, Sera has knocked out some 29 lengthy remands for members, while contributing to the discussion on all the others. He as also approved a further 93 sheets (accounting for approximately 33% of all manually reviewed sheets) in this time period. These reviews have always been of fantastic quality and insight, and his contributions to the discussion on all manual sheet reviews have definitely helped members’ sheets get even better.

As the stats say, Sera is a busy bee and a constant stream of activity. I've had the pleasure of working against him as a crochety member of the House while he was BTL, and now the same sentiment as my go-getter Aedile. He is always ready to hop on the next project, big or small, and often my job is more to rein him in from taking on too much rather than needing to goad him into activity.

What's more, his personality complements well with the House and Clan summits. His positive attitude and constant outreach have been a fantastic help, especially in regards to new members inside of Galeres, Arcona, and even in Fiction chat where he likewise supports the Voice team's efforts when he's not toiling away behind the scenes on validating the steady stream of character sheets. His high energy keeps me on my toes, and I look forward to continuing to work with that same energy.

Thank you Sera for all that you do. I would say may the fifth be with you, but I'll just offer some juice instead. Congratulations!

The prodigal kicky-captain returns home. In coalescing her previous work in combination with the new systems put into play while Sera was away, the Sapphire Blade is a perfect bridge from the old to the new. Sapphire Blades were originally scoped to long term commitment to a Clan or the Brotherhood, so in spirit, I believe this is a fitting time to give Sera another thing to potentially stab people with. Also, swords are cool.

Sera has ranked up 12 times in different societies thanks to the formation of the ACC and RP societies, which is a testament to work that was done, but now is recognized formally in a much different way.

We are so excited to have Sera back in Arcona and House-Qel Droma, and look forward to all the great things and butt-kicking Sera has in store for the future!

Quaestor of House Qel-Droma

I personally don't know Sera, they've just returned to Arcona after a challenging time away and we haven't had the chance to get to know one another. However, the instant they were potentially coming back, the clan was abuzz with the news. So many chats I'm apart of had comments on the prospect, it was clear this was something to take note of - and I get it now. In reviewing their unawarded activities from a time before the XP experience, it's clear that Sera is a dedicated member of the clan with proven track record of excellency. Additionally, in watching their returning interactions with the member of the clan it's clear they are a natural fit for our community and has put the effort in to getting to know folks. It's refreshing seeing someone's reputation matching their actions and I, too, have joined the chorus of joy in seeing Sera return to the clan and join us in our Qel-Droma community. Welcome back Sera, and congrats on the recognition.
