It's hard for me to imagine the Fist office without Nora in it. She has been a consistent, active, and tireless advocate for the club's gaming community in an extended tenure that goes back to before I became Fist. While that tenure has been punctuated by promotions due to her legendary activity in other areas, her long-term contributions to the Fist office and gaming community as a whole are worthy of separate recognition.
Focusing on the time period since her last recognition for service to the Fist office, Nora has processed 204 matches for 92 unique members in a timely and accurate fashion. Nora’s approvals account for roughly 35% of Fist office approvals during that same period. Beyond the numbers, Nora has provided invaluable and thoughtful input to every staff discussion and policy change during that same timeframe, often initiating policy deliberations based on trends she is seeing in the community. That type of initiative and discernment has been invaluable to me in my role and goes above and beyond what is expected of a Magistrate. Nora has also served as an ambassador to the gaming community by assisting members with questions, moderating discussions and hosting informal gaming sessions to help bring people together.
As Nora moves on to other roles and helping spread the word of our community to the wider internet I want to recognize and thank her for everything she has done for the Fist staff and the club's gamers. I look forward to continuing to work with her in her new Tribune role and have little doubt she'll continue to rise to the lofty heights of our club's greatest leaders.
