Scientist Titius Osseus has reached the required 5125 Medal XP to earn their first Sapphire Blade.

Titius has really done a bang up job. He exploded onto the scene and has been the bomb ever since. I know that we can lob him into any situation and he’ll never give a fragmented job.

He’s a bomb. It’s a bomb pun. Cause everything explodes.

Moving on, Titius has been a force to be reckoned with ever since he joined. He’s always looking for ways to engage, especially finding his niche in the ACC and RPing. His studious actions in the SA put me to shame. Plus, he’s holding Ellac to task as I prepare to depart and I need to know someone is gonna get the rest of those limbs.

I’m very proud of all his accomplished and his continued growth in the clan!

Titius Osseus, the Sooty One, is a member that certainly leaves a lasting impression (and no, it’s not ALWAYS because of an explosion). Titius joined Plagueis mere months ago, but fit in so well that it feels like he’s always been here. He immediately stepped into the role of Quaestor of House Tyranus, a position with large shoes (or a large hat) to fill and threw himself headfirst at it, determined to do everything in his power to help the house grow. When we told Titius to lead by example and do all the things, he took that to heart and it really shows in his activity numbers. Since his last medal in May, Titius has participated in 66 different competitions, the variety of which is truly all over the place! His efforts in everything from gaming, fiction, graphic and so many miscellaneous competitions have earned him placements in 12 comps and 3 Crescents with Diamond Star, 1 Amethyst, 5 with Emerald, 1 with Topaz and 2 with Quartz Stars as well as an incredible 201 Clusters of Fire for his gaming, 20 Clusters of Graphite for his art and 12 Clusters if Ice from his fictioning work including 3 ACC matches, 2 RPs that he has participated in and his first RP as a DM for a total of 3654 words written. All of these crazy numbers have led to Titius ranking up once in the Inquisitorius, as an ACC participant and as an RP organizer as well as three times in the Shroud Syndicate!

But here’s the thing about the Sooty One, he hasn’t just been a consumer of all things, he’s also been busy putting competitions together to get the members active. As someone who started off nervous about organizing competitions, Titius has done a great job co-organizing 4 comps and organizing an additional 8 on his own. Now, I have talked a bit about Titius as a Quaestor, and I’ll get back to that, but that isn’t the only position he has held. Titius has been busy at work in the Shadow Academy, passing 2 courses and adding 3 more degrees, all while holding down a position as Magistrate to the Headmaster. But I’ll let Arch talk more about that last part.

These numbers alone speak volumes about the type of member Titius is, but the numbers aren’t the one speaking here, I am. So, I am going to keep talking about our dear explosive obsessed friend and all of the things he does that the site doesn’t track. Titius has gone on record saying that his goal as Quaestor was to “Improve myself by improving the House", and in that he has succeeded. In August Titius worked with his fellow Plagueian Quaestor to organize the Aliso Summer Festival in order to get members of the clan warmed up and ready for the Pro Bowl. This event saw over 100 entries and helped build the hype of Pro Bowl VIII just a few weeks later where his outreach and encouragement was instrumental in getting 60% of House Tyranus participating in the event. Though Titius made the hard decision recently to take a step back from leadership, in his time as Quaestor he was relentless in getting his reports out like clock-work making sure that every member of his house had their achievements highlighted and celebrated. Titius also made sure that he was always keeping an eye on what the members of Tyranus were up to, ready to send Howie award and promotion recommendations almost as soon as members became eligible. Reading any of his recommendations it is clear that Titius cares about the members of his house and enjoys bragging about their achievements. Titius is always the first person in the Plagueis discord channel in the morning ready to check in on members, offer them a pot of coffee and start every day off with a bang. He is always there to greet new members, offer a warm welcome, get to know members both new and returning and is always there to answer questions no matter how big or small, and if he doesn’t know the answer he isn’t afraid to admit it and find someone who does.

Titius has been a welcome addition to the clan summit, enthusiastic and eager to learn new things, he hasn’t been afraid to share his ideas and opinions with the summit. He has quickly become a staple of Plagueis, a member I can always expect to see interacting with other members of both the clan and the club as a whole and a member I always look forward to chatting with. While I will miss having you on the summit, I am truly grateful to have been able to work with you over the past few months and am proud to have you as a member of Plagueis. Your contributions to the summit have been invaluable and I hope to see you take another crack at a leadership position once that pesky RL calms down a bit. Congratulations on an extremely well deserved Sapphire Blade, just don’t blow it up!

Since his arrival, Titius Osseus has firmly established himself as one of the most dedicated, consistent, and high-performing members of Clan Plagueis. His unwavering commitment to excellence stands as a shining example to others, and his continued engagement—despite stepping away from leadership roles—speaks volumes about his character, passion, and reliability. While many see a decline in activity under such circumstances, Titius has not only maintained but elevated his contributions, and for that, the Clan is both proud and deeply grateful.

Since his last recognition, Titius has entered an incredible 86 competitions, securing 24 placement awards, including a prestigious Ruby Crescent, alongside 4 Amethyst, 6 Sapphire, 11 Emerald, 1 Topaz, and 1 Quartz Crescent—a remarkable display of consistent excellence across a wide array of events. In addition to his competitive achievements, he earned 253 Clusters of Fire from 31 gaming activities, 10 Clusters of Ice for his fiction work, and 6 Clusters of Graphite—showcasing his versatility and dedication across multiple disciplines. Titius also advanced his standing within the Brotherhood by achieving four Society rank increases, with progression in the Inquisitorius, Antei Combat Center, and Envoy Corps, both as a participant and as an organizer. Furthermore, he completed six Shadow Academy courses and earned two academic degrees, solidifying his commitment to self-improvement and learning.

Titius Osseus continues to be an indispensable asset to Clan Plagueis. His exceptional activity, remarkable consistency, and eagerness to grow and support others make him a paragon among his peers. His impact is tangible, his contributions invaluable, and his presence deeply appreciated. I am proud to recognize him for his achievements and look forward to his continued success and influence within our Clan.

Since receiving his last award on 28 May 2025, Reaper Titius Osseus has continued to demonstrate steady and meaningful engagement across the Brotherhood, reflecting the sustained participation recognized by the Sapphire Blade. During this period, he entered 33 competitions, maintaining a reliable presence across a broad range of club activities.

That participation resulted in consistent competitive success. Over this award window, Reaper Titius Osseus earned one Crescent with Diamond Star, five Crescents with Amethyst Star, one Crescent with Sapphire Star, and seven Crescents with Emerald Star. These fourteen crescents represent placements in approximately 42 percent of the competitions he entered, reflecting both consistency and quality of performance.

His activity was anchored by a strong gaming presence, completing 32 gaming activities that helped sustain engagement across events. In addition, he contributed creatively through five fiction activities, including three roleplaying sessions as a participant totaling 1,560 words, as well as two roleplaying sessions as a DM producing 4,683 words, demonstrating a willingness to support collaborative storytelling in both participant and leadership roles.

Beyond direct participation, Reaper Titius Osseus continued to advance within the Brotherhood’s structure, earning two academic degrees and recording seven society rank-ups across multiple organizations, including the Aurora Collegium of Sciences, the Grand Master’s Royal Guard, the Inquisitorius, and the Envoy Corps in both participant and organizer capacities.
