Where do I even begin with Syrena? I could go for the obvious and count down the things she's done, but that wouldn't account for the weight of her contributions. I could list her writing shenanigans, but that wouldn't scratch the surface of her outreach across The Club.

Syrena came to us four months ago and has taken her profession of teaching to a separate level. Odan-Urr has taken to utilizing our Battleteams as a teaching tool, bringing up prospective leaders and entrenching them in the culture and giving them the tools to understand and operate within the framework. Syrena took this information and ran with it, joining the Knights of Allusis as their new Knight Commander, applying her skills, learning how to use the tools, and teaching others how to use them herself. She has dedicated swathes of time to getting to know and understand wide portions of The Brotherhood and interacting with different portions of our community, providing outreach, and offering assistance where any was necessary.

As BTL of the Knights of Allusis she has made a concentrated effort to drive new storylines, pulling on prior Battleteam Leaders and House Hoth Leadership, direct outreach to her members, and communication among the modern Summit. She has pushed for inclusion of the member base in all activities, redoubling our steady drive for roleplayers and fiction writers, prompting new art projects, and pushed her way into gaming, extolling the virtue of each in order to drive up our activity levels, a welcome effort as we have made our way to 60 members and managed with her support to retain an average of 50% or more members with at least one activity posted per month and over 36% of our members keeping moderate activity, with no small part of this in the last months being due to Syrena's infectious personality pushing them forward.

She is an example of a member who has gone above and beyond the expectations of their station to deliver a fun, comprehensive, and inclusive environment for all of those around her and I look forward to what the future holds for her if her progress and interests keep pushing her down this path.

Four months in and this is already happening. You know you can take a breather right Syrena? I don't need to wake up to 20 new emails a day.

Syrena is a joy to work with and watching her push the Knights to greater activity has been one of the great joys of working alongside her. She regularly engages with all aspects of the brotherhood, being omnipresent when it comes to the various RPs COU gets up to, as well as being someone active in gaming, art and other activities.

Congratulations Syrena, you have earned this reward. Now back to that idea of taking a day to rest.

Pink Rancor Club

Pink Rancors, Porgs, Space Mermaids, and every other manner of strange sightings have undoubtedly helped Syrena keep Odan-Urr lively. Climbing the ranks from the Battle Team Leader of the Knights of Allusis to Aedile, then Quaestor, of House Hoth, she's been a busy woman. Her infectious energy has infiltrated the Clan as a whole, and rarely a day goes by where we don't see her darting around, jumping into a conversation and throwing herself headlong into whatever shenanigans are going on. From trying to understand the Rock and Stone buffoonery of Jack, Arabella, and I, to confused warbling as she watched several of us dip, dive, and shout expletives while fighting clankers and oversized cockroaches in Helldivers.

As our Quaestor she has begun building new storylines to continue those left behind by her predecessor, while bringing a new, fashionable flair to the desolate tundra of Kaal, and seemingly subverting the rebellious tendencies of the shockboxing champ she took over from for now. She has also taken a keen interest in the ongoing Clan Narrative, helping to point out some of the trickier parts of the story and where newer members may be confused as we move into the events, her perspective in COU is always appreciated and this award is another, well deserved, point toward her brilliant DB Career.

When I joined the Herald staff years ago we had like 5 people in all of the DB who could do a decent robe and weapon. We had talent and a go-getter attitude to get us through a lot of it, but there was no base for it. None of us had any art background, we were self taught and just "there".

My second term is completely different. This club has fostered many great artists since then and I have my pick on who my staff are. Syrena is one of the top picks and probably one of the only few people who actually have an art background to backup all the talent and go-getterness and everything in between. She brings a much needed professional perspective to our plucky little group and I am immensely grateful for her being there. Brilliant artist.

That said, these awards aren't just about praise and sugary words, they're about facts and stats, so here they are: 2 custom robes, 1 custom weapon, 1 custom accessory and 4 custom artworks made for Clan Odan-Urr. Enough for a buck and change of XP (3700 to be precise).

Syrena's service so far has been exemplary and I expect she'll wow us even more with her expertise, knowledge and talent. Thank you for the work you did so far, and congratulations :)
