Ben is not the activity-machine of some others in the Clan, but he has still managed to participate in 4 competitions, complete 3 SA exams, do 2 IG events, play 3 MP matches for the IGs and earn himself 16 CFs in general MP gaming. That alone would garner him a small merit medal. However, Ben goes beyond just the activity aspects of the DB and is a large part of Taldryan as our resident coding-guru. Just recently he has added in another new feature to the Taldryan site, coding in an expansive archive system for our use. Coupled with routine maintenance of the site since the last large re-design, I believe that Ben is more than deserving of this medal.

For the current Taldryan-wide competition, Ben came through for us in a huge way making a great looking-website from scratch, as well as putting on all of the information in a very short amount of time (http://www.taldryan.net/feuds/2008Feud/index.html). On top of that, I managed to break some of the coding and he once again came through and fixed the site so that we could release the competition in a timely manner.

For his wonderful work on the site, as well as managing to upkeep it when newbs such as myself tamper with it, I believe this award is more than deserving.

Ben was his usual helpful self during the Ninth Great Jedi War, being a staple on Internet Relay Chat (IRC) throughout the entire Vendetta. He participated in eleven (11) different events on behalf of Taldryan which was greatly appreciated. His multimedia submission was awesome to boot. Ben's work behind the scenes has been of great help. He has helped find the little things that seem to always get overlooked and has been there when we need him. When new additions come to the Wiki (the new 'skin' or the spambot situation, what have you) Ben has always been there ready to step up for the work needed. He always seems to beat me to confirming new accounts, showing his availability for the Wiki.

I think Ben is the only old Dinaari member that has actually stayed active throughout his entire career. For nearly three years Ben has served as Sergeant of the Dinaari Old Folk's Home. In this Rite of Supremacy, Ben participated in two events and earned second place in the round one fiction event, ensuring that Taldryan moved beyond the first round (would have been embarrassing otherwise). When I asked around for some help to set-up the new JO server, the first response I received was from Benevolent. He is willing took his time to get the server set-up in record time. I cannot thank him for saving me countless hours of sifting through websites and reading tons and tons of information regarding this matter. I know Ben did not want a medal but I would like the record to show that he was willing to help me out without expecting anything but a simple thanks! So I would like to recommend him for this Antei Cross for his help getting all the command lines, and the system file setup. Leaving me to my other duties. Oh, my lovely Bethany. Benevolent Taldrya Whiner has been a long time member of the House, and is loved by all. You seriously have to have some wires crossed to not love Ben. The amount of work he does behind the scenes is usually off the chain, when you consider the activity of some other members in this club. During Disorder, Ben participated in four events throughout the three weeks. During this time, he placed first, and placed second in another event. Over the course of the past two months, he has earned himself 79 Clusters of Fire, an Amethyst Crescent for the 'Beat the Staff' competition, as well as an Emerald Crescent for the 'Alien Swarm' competition - both of which were run by The Fist of the Brotherhood, Ma'ar (Smoke). Benevolent Taldrya Whiner has been, how shall we say, Taldryan’s cleaner-upper? Without breaking a sweat Ben manages the Wiki as Tribune and somehow manages to take care of the old crotchety members in the Old Folks Home of Taldryan as their Battleteam Leader. Oh, did I mention he likes to do activities, too?

Sure enough, this winner of a Whiner has snagged himself a lovely pair of 6 Clusters of Fire, thus gaining himself an extra couple of points on the E-Peen scale (I hope), as well as placing in one of Taldryan’s annual Taldryan Holiday Bash event. This little feat earned him a Crescent with an Amethyst star. That’s right, he wipes the elderly and spanks the youngin’s. He’ s a natural den mother!

Ah, Ben. What can you say about Benevolent Taldrya Whiner beyond the fact that is a man who clearly knows what is best for Taldryan, and then does it without hesitation. As the leader of the most talented, deadliest, and controversial Battle Team in the entire Dark Brotherhood, Benevolent constantly has his work cut out for him, managing the wildly rampant personas and activities of such an elite group. He does it without any spotlight, and he does it with a light hand. Despite all that extracurricular management he does, Benevolent managed to participate in half of all the events in the Dark Crusades, earning medals for a fifth of his entries. For that, I am happy to be awarding him this Anteian Cross.

Ben is an Elder of Taldryan that returned just before the start of the recent GJW, and did he ever make his presence felt!

In total since his last recognition, Ben has competed in 17 separate competitions. 10 of which were from the war where he earned a Bronze Nova and earned a 9th place placement!

Overall, Ben has written 4618 words of Fiction, passed 12 Shadow Academy courses and earned 2 degrees.

His list of achievements include Crescent with 1 Diamond Star, 6 Pendants of Blood, 15 Clusters of Fire, 13 Clusters of Ice and 1 Legion of the Scholar.

Not to mention his time as a Battleteam Leader, which he served faithfully for 11 months!
