Ben was part of the Taldryan CTF Team that won the DB CTF League. The OHC isn't awarding them for their efforts, but they put in a lot of hard work week after week to absolutly dominate all of their opponents, and for that they deserve recognition!

This Steel Cross is being given to Benevolent for placing in the top 10 of Taldryan for 5th Great Jedi War participation. Benevolent placed seventh in the Clan with 84 submissions. Efforts of this magnitude are deserving of more than a basic medal. Ben has done great in the recent GJW. He placed 7th overall and only one point away from 6th. He competed in the 17 events and earned Taldryan 1042 points. He helped lead the clan during the GJW, and helped out a ton. Even with his recent promo during the GJW he has done more than enough to deserve getting this Steel Cross. Benevolent came out and did well for the Clan in this war, as he has since joining the Clan long ago. Last year he was Proconsul for the Sixth Great Jedi War, this time only a member but a contributing member and that’s what counts in the end! Ben jumped into the Run-on, both Gaming ladders, two Fictions, the first Endurance of Pain event, two Graphic events, and two Poetry events. Like Shad, Benny has been one of my nit-pickers and helped in handling obnoxious members and pointing out what is wrong with an article, why it won't work, and how to change it. His help in corraling the Wiki newbs has been greatly admired.

With the wiki back up, it is now time to award those who helped form it back into some semblance of what it was before it went down.

Ben was one of the main contributors to helping ensure that the wiki was back up and running in time. His knowledge of wiki-code was indispensable and he managed to have nearly 200 unique edits made. For his efforts in this project that benefited the entire DB I believe he is deserving of this award.

The man affectionately know as Benny Why, Private Eye (according to his dossier) and Ben Father (according to a certain panda) is one of those members that lurks around in the background and pops his head up every now and then to say hello, make a joke or quip, and dissappear again behind the scenes until he is summoned again.

Here's the thing, behind the scenes, Ben is active. He may not talk about it very much, but he doesn't need too. These numbers will speak for themselves.

Since Ben earned his last merit award, he has participated in a total of 35 different competitions, some of which were from the recent Rite of Supremacy. On top of this, Ben has proven himself to be one of Taldryan's most active gamers, having competed in 21 pvp battles and 21 pve events in total. In the Shadow Academy, Ben has successfully passed 9 courses and earned 1 degree!
