Ruby Scepter events for Pontifex Azler

Over the course of the last year, no one has contributed to Vizsla and its community as much as Azler has. The staggering amount of activity he has contributed is astounding, add to this the amount of new members he's recruited to our community and he's easily a pillar of the community, but then to take the weight of work he has done for Vizsla as Proconsul and it's time to make an example of this man...by pinning a new award to his dossier.

To start with, since his last award, Azler has organized 32 competitions, co-organized 5 more, and participated in 413 competition as a skilled competitor. He's completed an astounding 838 gaming activities, judged 2 ACC battles, and participated in 7 fiction activites; 4 fictions with a total of 6,236 words and 3 RP sessions, with 2414 words. To add to this, he's earned 4 bronze nova and a total of 127 Crescents (14 CR-D, 21 CR-R, 23-CR-A, 24 Cr-S, 16 Cr-E, 14 Cr-T, and 15 Cr-Q) throughout these activities, meriting a 15.6% placement rate along with 5847 clusters of fire, 22 clusters of ice, and 116 clusters of graphite. As pointed out above, his recruitment efforts have earned him 2 scrolls of the master, while his efforts in the Shadow Academy have led to 17 courses passed, 9 degrees gained, and 3 scrolls of foundation awarded for his corrections. In total, this has netted 2,773,720 credits for the clan's coffers.

Alas, while the above has greatly contributed to Azler obtaining the 25949MXP needed for a Ruby Scepter, I'd like to also address the 8,000 non-site XP that'd been added to his ledger. For nearly a year now, Azler has been my righthand man and Proconsul of Vizsla. Before that, he served 3 months as Quaestor and throughout all of this, he's been a boon to us by proving himself as an exceptional leader for Clan Vizsla. Throughout that time, he has been a reliable, energetic, and dedicated presence, providing the guidance and support needed to keep both myself and our Clan moving forward. Whether working behind the scenes as Proconsul or taking the lead as a participant, Azler has consistently demonstrated the passion and commitment expected of a top-tier Clan leader. An example of this was last fall for the ProBowl event, Azler was the first to step up and served as a Vizsla team captain during Pro Bowl, which required participation in our clan draft and ongoing promotion of the events. Not only did he champion his team forward to victory, but he was also a high placing individual. Again during the most recent GJW, on top of his Proconsul duties rallying the clan to participate, Azler also earned 4 bronze nova which did well to further Vizsla's GJW efforts where he earned 56 participation points and 214 placement points for a grand total of 270 points he contributed to the Vizsla war effort. As a result of his efforts, Clan Vizsla recorded 36 unique participants, averaging more than 45% participation across each phase and earning an impressive 2,607.96 points; which demonstrates that even while managing the responsibilities of Clan leadership, he remained committed to participating and supporting the Clan's success.

Aside from the war and major event efforts, on a daily basis Azler is also a great leader. To start, Azler has been a consistent and welcoming presence in the Vizsla channels on Discord. He's also grown our community from his efforts in Vizlsa by developing a strong Where Winds Meet community in the club and bringing new members to the guild into Vizsla. Always present and always willing to interact with others while encouraging conversations about star wars, our supported games and providing guidance to new folks in our community, Azler is also a big contributor to our daily conversations and getting folks interested in competition opportunities that may be of interested to him. Frankly, I see this as one of Azler’s great features - he is a discord champion, starting or continuing conversations, helping or welcoming others, and stepping up to help hype events for the clan. No doubt this is how we continue to have so many new folks try different competitions.

It's an incredible pleasure to make this recommendation today. Vizsla is home to a variety of notable members, yet each any list would be incomplete without the inclusion of Azler. It's been just shy of a year since Azler took over the Proconsul office and we've been blessed with his contributions ever since. While this token is a way of saying thanks for that, it's also a mark of just how much Azler had put into our community. We are better because of you, thank you for your work, my friend.

It's an absolute pleasure to be making this recommendation today. As was covered in his last ruby scepter, no one has contributed to Vizsla and its community as much as Azler has in the last year. This is why he earned that RS then and he had enough MXP left over to get another two months later. This is became of the staggering amount of activity he has contributed making him easily a pillar of the community, our clan, and the brotherhood as a whole. So once again, let's make an example of this man...by pinning a new award to his dossier.

To start with, since his last award, Azler has organized 7 competitions, co-organized 4 more, and participated in 114 competitions as a skilled competitor. He's completed 30 gaming activities, judged 1 ACC battles, and participated in 3 battles himself with a word count of 5628. In addition, he's completed 3 fictions activities. To add to this, he's earned 18 Crescents (1CR-R, 2-CR-A, 1 Cr-S, 6 Cr-E, 2Cr-T, and 6 Cr-Q) throughout these activities, meriting a 8% placement rate along with 488 clusters of fire, 11 clusters of ice, and 4 clusters of graphite. And he's earned 2 society rank-ups in the ACC. In total, this has netted 554150 credits for the clan's coffers.

Alas, while the above has greatly contributed to Azler obtaining the 25949MXP needed for a Ruby Scepter, I'd like to also address the 2500 non-site XP that'd been added to his ledger. The past 2 months have seen some build change in Vizsla as we've brought on a new Quaestor and expanded the summit to include 4 BTLs. Throughout this, Azler has been training the summit on the processes and their importance in running the Vizsla Bounty Board, the weekly Round-up, while helping execute my will as Consul. He's been an excellent righthand man and Proconsul of Vizsla, ensuring that these system remain active and are understood but each member of the summit team. Before that, he helped me crank out several summertime themed events, process the vast amount of awards and promotions to followed the GJW, while acting as coverage for the Wren QUA while we found a replacement after Taurus' departure. Throughout that time, he has been a reliable, energetic, and dedicated presence, providing the guidance and support needed to keep both myself and our Clan moving forward - all while navigating the difficulties of keeping his internet going.

Whether working behind the scenes as Proconsul or taking the lead as a participant, Azler has consistently demonstrated the passion and commitment expected of a top-tier Clan leader. Whether that is being a consistent and welcoming presence in the Vizsla channels on Discord, coordinating gaming parties in our Viz voice chat, or direct recruiting his RL friends to further grow our community in Vizlsa; Azler is central to our clan's developments. As such, it's an incredible pleasure to make this recommendation today. While this token is a way of saying thanks for that, it's also a mark of just how much Azler had put into our community. We are better because of you, thank you for your work, my friend.
